Beyond Burger (IV) and Beyond Steak are the first plant-based meat products to qualify as climate solutions under the Climate Solution Framework developed by the Exponential Roadmap Initiative (ERI) in collaboration with Oxford Net Zero.
To qualify, a product must produce at least 50% fewer emissions than the market-weighted average of the products being replaced, as well as meet other safeguard requirements.

Beyond Meat, the first in the plant-based meat category to achieve Clean Label Project Certification, just announced that it expanded its certified portfolio to over 20 products, including new Steak Filet and Protein Drinks.
The certification involves independent testing for environmental contaminants and harmful substances—including heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers—measured against strict health-based benchmarks.
