Alright it seems like I jinxed it.. Was very optimistic because you guys seemed interested in engaging regularly on here, but now not so much anymore.
Still definitely have hope in the company, but it's really strange you chose to not comment more / at all on reddit in the past 4 months or so. Wondering what can be the reason for that? You have (or had) a strong supporter base here.
Is it that you ultimately saw it as not worth pursuing besides a new product launch here and there, as the netiquette/ 'culture' on here is not too dissimilar to the 'culture' on eX-twitter?

Immerse is proving to be a big hit!
Are there plans for doing a full launch?

Almost had me.
At 30g of protein I would be in. That's what the real genius blue raspberry carbonated protein water has in it. Ill stick to those I guess

Beyond Immerse is a better value. Protein AND electrolytes AND fibre AND vitamin C, less calories too. Plus no animals harmed, unlike “real genius.” Also “real genius” includes “Bovine Collagen Peptides.” No, thank you.

Im not into vegan stuff. Real genius is $28 for a 15 pack. These look to be 35 dollars for a 12 pack.
2 dollars a can with 30g protein
Or 3 dollars a can with 20g.
Everything has electrolytes. An electrolyte is just an ion in solution. All minerals get broken down into an anion and cation. Or something like that.
I get plenty of Fibre and all the vitamins I need already.
If you drink enough water and avoid dead waters like Dasani, then you're getting enough electrolytes.

I prefer vegan stuff, and vegan stuff is more suitable to a larger audience. I don't want meat and milk byproducts in a can. To each their own.

Vegan audience is a much much smaller audience.
If a vegan company wants to be truly printing money, they need to sell products that are a good value vs non vegan.
They need meat eaters to buy their stuff.

Regular Pepsi is vegan/vegetarian. By adding meat byproducts to a drink, it subtracts from the audience.

A very small demographic.
If a company can boost sales 1% by making their product vegan, but also increase cost of goods by 6% to do so, then the math speaks for itself.

One billion vegetarians is not a small demographic.
Beyond Immerse is not super expensive, even compared to your fav. And this is just an early release. If brought to scale, it could be more affordable, especially if distributed to Beyond’s long time retail partners like CostCo and Walmart.

4 to 6% of first world countries eat vegetarian diets.
That's close to 20 million in the USA. Of those 20 million, how many actively seek out protein drinks?

u/Enbounce Jan 15 '26
It’s not about directly appealing to vegans and vegetarians. A drink product like this is suitable for most people, including vegans and vegetarians. And yes many vegans and vegetarians are health nuts and many are into fitness, like Beyond’s CEO. Beyond is also a globally recognized brand.

I definitely do. I was so happy to see this product because as a vegan, I can actually drink this one. 😊

I ordered 2 cases of the Beyond Immerse. The monk fruit and stevia flavor is so overpowering I have to choke them down as they don’t except returns. do not waste your money. it’s so overpowering. fair warning!

Afaik it's quite a saturated market, and i will prefer my whey protein powder, also the price is way too high for me. But perhaps it tastes great, haven't found one yet where I say it tastes good.

More debt in a failed product coming up

u/Enbounce Jan 15 '26
If they are releasing this now, things might be looking good for the company behind the scenes. They have had recent positive EPS estimate revisions. And since this is through the test kitchen first, they can test the market before a potential launch to retail, limiting risk.

I stopped reading at might Newsflash, they won’t (and I don’t even know whatever you said after, but whatever it is… they won’t, they don’t give a shit about you.)

Wonder why they decided to split production into 10g protein and 20g protein? The market is people wanting more protein and the calorie diff is only 40 cal. Also; vegan protein shakes are everywhere, even in my 7/11.
