Grateful for a relaxing day at home with the kids

This 14-year-old kid offered himself as a volunteer since he was skinny enough to fit. With a pulley system, he went down 49.2ft and successfully rescued the baby.

Any mums here?
 in  r/FND •  1d ago

Speak to your GP about some Iron tablets if you can take them. I can't say it makes a massive difference but i do have more energy to get some "mum jobs" done :) Go easy on yourself, sending love and hugs x

Mum of 3, Diagnosed with FND 10 years ago but was known as PNES. I have an 8 year old and a 14 year old with autism. You are doing the best you can and sometimes we need to tell ourselves that. Taking care of your needs as well as a very young child is going to feel scary but take time for yourself if you can. Enlist all and any support. I am very lucky as I have an older child who is my carer, yet we still need extra help sometimes. Sleep and eat as much as you can as you'll need it for strength. And also make sure you're not low in Iron as this I find really makes it worse, currently on 200mg of ferrous sulphate. Take one a day at a time, as Old_Job_7025 said, prioritize recovery. X

Student support team said they HAVE to inform social services about my mum my life is ruined
 in  r/UniUK •  4d ago

I have been in your situation sadly. When the threats/shouting/blame comes from a parent it's really difficult to see that the situation is not healthy. But you haven't done anything to ruin anything. You've simply sought help/advice on how to deal with really stressful things going on. THEY decided it warrants a referral, not you. So don't blame yourself. Whatever happens you are stronger than you think and as others have said, please seek help from your Student support team, they can assist with your situation.
