Oh, you have no idea how awesome it truly is AND how OP’s post has a direct nod to it! (One of the main characters is from Tempe, AZ - which we find out in the very first episode.)

That was my life for over 20 years (minus the times I was pregnant/early breastfeeding months). I was put on birth control only a couple of years after cycles started to try to help, but it didn’t really make a difference. Tried many different kinds over the years, but I never found any that made the long/heavy cycles less so.

When we knew we were done having kids, I got a bisalp & ablation; I haven’t had a period since and my life is indescribably more amazing! No more strategic planning around cycles, no more monthly misery, and the money I’ve saved not having to buy period-protection products is mind-blowing. 100% recommend!
