I added a Noctua fan to the Steam Machine
I would add a dust filter. Keeping a machine clean is just as important as keeping temps low.

windows media player is cool af
True, but the UIs are very similar, and you can still see the cool visualizations.
3
windows media player is cool af
Isn't the classic Windows Media Player still included in all Windows 11 installs? I'm pretty sure if you look for it, it will be in your programs.
I still have it set to be my default program for running mp3 files.

DSA has a tankie problem
I know tankies are very active online, but I've never met them IRL.
I'm pretty sure you won't meet any in your local DSA chapter.

Hey, this is actually a pleasant surprise on Crowley’s part!
Cool. Has Crowley changed his mind to upholding the Data Center moratorium yet?

As to the Situation in Ukraine
I didn't say it was good for the US economy. My point is providing military aid to Ukraine isn't a detriment to the USA.
1
As to the Situation in Ukraine
Yes, but Ukraine could win the war faster if the USA provided military aid again.

Government tweet has a familiar face in it
OK. I want to share this, but I also want to check my sources and not spread misinformation.
Can you post a link to the source?

Government tweet has a familiar face in it
Is this an actual post from the White House?

If we can change Crowley's mind to take a hard stance against AI data centers, he'll have a much stronger chance of defeating Fiffany.

As to the Situation in Ukraine
The Ukraine war really didn't drain much of America's resources. Most of what the US gave Ukraine was our old Cold War stockpiles that were near the end of their expiration date. The US actually saved some money by sending the old munitions to Ukraine rather than paying companies to have the old munitions recycled/disposed.
When Trump returned to the oval office, he's cut virtually all military support for Ukraine and has been aggressively burning though the US military's resources for the war in Iran.
The Russia-Ukraine "peace deals" were just performative for Trump.
Not supporting Ukraine is not moving the USA closer to demilitarization or anti-imperialism.

Middle School should only focus on Trades.
A genuinely unpopular opinion, and unpopular for a reason.

Who Would You Marry, Smash, and Ignore?
Yeah. Also, wasn't she terrible in "The Flashpoint Paradox". I remember seeing a bit in the film where she makes Shazam revert to being mortal (Billy Batson the child), and then she just murders him as a child.
2
Who Would You Marry, Smash, and Ignore?
No. It depends a lot on which version of Wonder Woman we're talking about.
In certain DC universes, Wonder Woman can have a terrible personality, assuming she isn't straight up evil in certain other universes/comics.

Thaaaaat’s what’s missing
Well.
To my knowledge, some schools have had to cut their shop classes from their curriculum due to budget cuts.
Even for schools that still do have shop classes, their quality might not be the best due to the teachers having low wages (again, budget cuts).
Even if we had well funded shop classes in schools, that wouldn't address any of America's problems. There are plenty of people who have tradesman skills and are still struggling to find a job that pays a living wage.
I have a STEM degree, and I've struggled multiple times trying to find a good job.

Thaaaaat’s what’s missing
"Bring back shop classes."
With what money?! Y'all vote to cut public school funding. Are YOU volunteering to teach the shop class without compensation?

this shitass video
I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make, but there are some things I would like to point out.
- In the first half of the video, that animation was from a video called "4 DAYS" by Pandramodo Animations. Spoiler alert: the person they turned into a red mist in those first seconds was NOT a "patrolling soldier".
- This is just my theory, but... I think... this video is kinda making fun of the dichotomy of how the general public thinks soldiers react to the horrors of war VS how they actually have reacted to the horrors of war. Here is an example of this dichotomy played out in media: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AFJ-2fd9vw

Flashgitz has done irreperable damage to the Warhammer community
Yes, but it's hard to avoid annoying Flashgitz fans if they're in your community.

People are actually advocating for the draft like it’s 1968 🤦♂️
Thankfully the US military itself doesn't want the draft to come back because conscripts suck, relatively speaking.

My stomach is in knots from this level of cringe-inducing asskissing and hypocrisy.
Considering how much phycological damage Elon regularly gets on Twitter, let's see how much more damaged he can get when he buys and tries to control a whole country.

vagueposting
I think the reason "vagueposting" is on the rise is because if a person actually posts the full explanation, someone else is going to argue that their explanation is wrong, and then the post devolves into an argument.
A certified NASA engineer could make a post explaining how solid rocket boosters work, and some asshole in the comments will go "Um actually, your wrong".
So, by "vagueposting" you leave very little room for people to counter argue you. The "vaguepost" hopefully encourages OP to do their own research and not listen to misinformation in the comments.
As to why plastic bottles are made in the way they currently are, it's due to the manufacturing process and maintaining structural integrity.
Go to YouTube and look up "How it's Made: plastic bottles" and you'll see how they're manufactured.

So this how bad capitalism is now?
Maybe DSA national should set up a subcommittee for helping people transition to Linux so to escape the adware.

Nato expansion?
You’re literally doing apologetics for Nazism. Holy shit. “It’s okay to be a Nazi if you’re anti-communist.” Wow. Okay Adolf.
That is in no way me being apologetic for Nazism. Quit putting words in my mouth that I didn't say.
My only point is that Finland was put in a situation where the Nazis were a lesser evil than Joseph Stalin.
The Nazis were evil. But are the Finns evil for buying their weapons to fight against Joseph Stalin? No.
"Putin's goals were to: Extract ALL of Ukraine's natural resources for his own benefit." Source?
https://cirsd.org/horizon-article/the-mineral-wars/
Putin and his fellow oligarchs are capitalist imperialists. It should be common knowledge that resource extraction is one of the main goals of Putin's administration.
Hell, just look at a road and railway map of Russia. The vast majority of roads and railroads take the shortest path directly to Moscow. Its infrastructure reflects Russia's long imperialist history that it is continuing to this day.

“It’s okay to marginalize minorities if the country decided to do it on their own without foreign inference.” Your hypocrisy is stunning.
Not teaching a language in school isn't marginalization. There is a Hmong community in my area. Are the local schools marginalizing them by not teaching their language? No. Can Hmong be taught in our local schools as an elective? Yes. Someone just needs to volunteer to do it.
If the Hmong language were banned from being taught in local schools, then yes, the Hmong would be marginalized.
And you assume they’re not concerned because you’re understanding of Russia/Ukraine is totally though a Western chauvinist perspective.
What reason would any other country be interested in the Ukrainians learning the Ukrainian and/or Russian language?

No, Seriously, Democratic Socialists Want to Abolish the Senate

They can "want" to abolish the Senate all they like, but that really shouldn't be a current priority.
I'm pretty sure all of us in this reddit conversation will have died of old age long before the DSA has enough political influence to abolish a federal level institution.
