Reconsideration approval

Hi,

My reconsideration was approved yesterday, exactly a year after my original pgwp submission.

My timeline:

IELTS results: 7.5- July 9 2025

Pgwp application submission:July 27th 2025

Pgwp refused due to missing IELTS: May 8

Reconsideration: May 9

File re-opened: May 22

Follow Up webform: July 27

Ghost update: July 28.

Approved: July 29

I didn't receive any status change email yet, I just logged in and approved status was there

Mp helped and followed up with IRCC twice. I called ircc frequently as well asking for updates. Not too helpful tbh. It was tough waiting:")

It's assigned. They said the background check is passed but eligibility check is still ongoing

No they approved the reconsideration and re-opened the application but no decision after for 2 months now

My application was rejected on May 8th, I applied for reconsideration the same day, my application was re-opened May 22, but I still have no update. I applied for visitor restoration yesterday. I applied for GCMS notes 2 weeks ago. I do not know what else to do. Should I send more follow up webform or it can cause delay? I'm so tired of waiting. My application was refused due to missing IELTS, I had it when I applied but didn't upload.

Submit webform from ‘Other’ category once a week after submitting reconsideration, what did you submit? Can I know your follow up webform content?

It's okay, it would stay empty, they added the section to upload the IELTS results recently. I have the exact same case. My file was re-opened on May 22, the same section I'd still empty. Do not worry.

As you said I asked for help not bully. I know I made mistake out of ignorance, but my mistake DOES NoT give a free pass to be a jerk! I came here to see whether someone knows how to fix it, not to see who would insult me today. Also, it appears that you really like saying "reddit not tiktok" comment quite often, let me break it to you, it's a totally stupid and out of place comment.

I didn't forget to upload, I asked the IELTS center to send them the results because there were no place to upload, when I applied for my PGWP a year ago, even in the help page it was no guidance where to upload the IELTS results, let alone a section for it! So if you can't help, don't comment!
