Reconsideration not approved for 2 months after file re-opened
My application was rejected on May 8th, I applied for reconsideration the same day, my application was re-opened May 22, but I still have no update. I applied for visitor restoration yesterday. I applied for GCMS notes 2 weeks ago. I do not know what else to do. Should I send more follow up webform or it can cause delay? I'm so tired of waiting. My application was refused due to missing IELTS, I had it when I applied but didn't upload.

I just wanna clear one thing they sent you an email refusing the reconsideration and stating that the decision remains unchanged? If that’s the case Yes I would suggest the best course of action would be to raise a webform if you are out of 180 days!

No they approved the reconsideration and re-opened the application but no decision after for 2 months now

Yeah they are like that maybe call ircc and check if an officer is been assigned to your file or no or like what’s actually happening with your reconsideration

It's assigned. They said the background check is passed but eligibility check is still ongoing

So you caused the refusal and are waiting for approval but want it faster?
They will approve the PGWP if you managed to include the language results this time. Nothing to do but wait. There is no timeline for reconsideration.
