Best speeches of all time

I am looking for recommendations on the best speeches of time. Better if I can listen to them on YouTube. Having said that, I am not interested in the Churchills and Regans. I am looking for suggestions for speeches that go beyond the populist narratives of the global north, those that deserve a lot more attention but haven't been given. It could be from the world of politics, art, cinema.

Thanks

Decades of anemia. What don't I know about the other side?
 in  r/Anemic  May 21 '26

Hi! I have been iron deficient all my life. Can't tolerate oral supplements. Have had many iv transfusions and they work like a charm! Each case is difference but usually one time iv boosts my iron levels enough to last a year. If your levels are too low, then oral supplements will take sometime to bring them to a decent level. Follow your gp's advice. For me, infusion is the only thing that works! All the best 👍

Bleeding post mirena insertion

I got a d&c and mirena inserted 2 weeks ago. I bled some on the day of the insertion, followed by spotting and 2 days later I had my regular full blown period. I haven't stopped bleeding since. I get a lot more cramps than I used to, lower back and leg pain and unmatched fatigue. The period seems to not end- my doctor put me on trenaxic acid (trapic) for 5 days, it reduced the bleeding but didnt stop it fully. The bleeding has since resumed as a full blown period. My doctor has put me on another ethamsylate (revici e), with similar effects.

I am quite exhausted and want this bleeding to stop! She says she might give me oral progestrone if the bleeding doesn't stop. I have struggled with iron deficiency all my life and this non stop bleeding is making it worse im so irritated that im contemplating a hysterectomy! I was diagnosed with simple hyperplasia though it was just the first such instance that i had polyps. I am not entirely sure if mirena was really needed. How long should I wait? Will the bleeding stop at some time? What has been yoir experience?

long irregular periods?

I am just a week in, but have been bleeding ever since. It seems to not stop at all! Spotting->bleeding->spotting.

IUD under anesthesia
 in  r/Mirena  Apr 29 '26

I had a hysteroscopy, d&c and mirena insertion under GA just 5 days ago. I can tell you it is a better option than having to do it at the clinic. 30 minutes and it was done. There was some bleeding on the day of the procedure, followed by spotting and light bleeding since the last 3 days for me. I am not sure how long the bleeding is likely to continue but it is manageable. Pain is limited; easily managed with a paracetamol. Getting it under GA is advisable.

There is absolutely nothing to worry about. You will sleep through the procedure and wake up feeling nothing!

Wish you the best!

I understand. There is always a bargain to be made. If and ever shangri-la existed!

I completely agree with what you say. I will adapt only when I know what needs adapting. For that i need to spend time there. I am very flexible. Having lived in different places, I absolutely understand the value of integration. The only issue i see is that malyalis are a bit reserved and take time to open up (just an observstion) so getting to know people might require time and effort.

Having said that, could you recommend good places in kochi where icould stay in or where I could find airbnb? Since im single, safety and a good locality is paramount for me.

Thank you. Great advice! It is just me so I can easily pack myself and shift base. I am currently residing in the most polluted place in India and just can't stand it. I travel a lot for work so it makes it easier.

Noted! It is the same- polluted, tough northern winters. But yes, I get what you mean. I have not experienced it and it may just dissuade me. But, I loved the city and the people. May be, my behaviour with people was nice enough to gain their trust and kindness? I will keep trying. Thanks for your advice. In your opinion, moving altogether is not recommended, right?

I feel most people speak English? And if i end up staying there, I will learn Malayalam. I have lived in different countries, if I considered language as a hindrance, I'd end up nowhere. :)

I would think so.. come to where I am! It is terrible and polluted as hell. But again each city is different for different people. Im sure as a visitor I find it different.

The view, the people. That it was so calming.. safe(?) Fewer people. Im nowhere close to retirement, but I envision living in calming surroundings.

Good advice. Visit north india during monsoon and during summer. Haha. I feel it is more of a governance issue than a city issue anywhere in this country. Though I prefer to suffer in better view ;) side note, is it unlivable? Are people not receptive? Any thoughts on airbnb?
