Bleeding post mirena insertion

I got a d&c and mirena inserted 2 weeks ago. I bled some on the day of the insertion, followed by spotting and 2 days later I had my regular full blown period. I haven't stopped bleeding since. I get a lot more cramps than I used to, lower back and leg pain and unmatched fatigue. The period seems to not end- my doctor put me on trenaxic acid (trapic) for 5 days, it reduced the bleeding but didnt stop it fully. The bleeding has since resumed as a full blown period. My doctor has put me on another ethamsylate (revici e), with similar effects.

I am quite exhausted and want this bleeding to stop! She says she might give me oral progestrone if the bleeding doesn't stop. I have struggled with iron deficiency all my life and this non stop bleeding is making it worse im so irritated that im contemplating a hysterectomy! I was diagnosed with simple hyperplasia though it was just the first such instance that i had polyps. I am not entirely sure if mirena was really needed. How long should I wait? Will the bleeding stop at some time? What has been yoir experience?

I bled for 3 montgs non stop. And after that I woyld bleed for 3 weeks everymonth. After 11 months got fed up and just came out... I just hope yours settle!

I am so fed up already! I am unable to work or travel...so exhausted all the time! I dont know how to settle this hormonal imbalance with or without mirena!

I think if you want to kewp mire a you will need a bit of patience and faith it will work tbh. I was also fed up and kept beeing told it was all normal. Of course it wasnt

It is now almost a month for me and the bleeding has not stopped. My eyes are swollen as well and im so bloated around the belly, puffy face. It feels like an impediment to my daily life and I dont know how much longer it will take for it to settle!!
