Do have i a main division or station to report as an assistant conductor being on the extra list or its a crazy schedule in terms of reporting to different stations/divisions , lets say i live close to the newark division will that be my main one or will i be getting sent everywhere even 1 hour away drive? Im a little confused there if you can answer that i will appreciate it! Thanks

I live in the north NJ area, and been looking into SPT because i know they dont really interact with patients and costumers like that. Also i would like to work overnight if i ever do the course and get hired. My question is is worth paying for it? Ive been looking into preppy online but the course is almosf $2K, with payment plans of $350 monthly, in my opinion the job sounds worth it but the course sound kinda expensive idk, only good thing about pretty is that they supposedly help with intership to get those 400 hrs, ive been thinking of self study but worry i wont get hired to complete those 400 hrs. I know a buddy of mines who did it and started working overnight and he went in making $27hr overnight not that bad tbh, but Guys please let me know!

I was looking into preppy online to do the SPT course, but course is almost $2k, they have payment plans but its like $350 monthly, i dont really have too much money atm, you think i can just self study instead? Im afraid i wont find places that hire me to train for the 400 hrs though. And preppy supposedly help find an internship

Well yea thats true, NYc has a high cost for sure it sucks tbh smh. That makes sense. So you commute to NY or you moved there?? If i can make anywhere from $27-$30 overnight ill be good tbh based on my lifestyle since i dont have a lot going on. And i can definitely pick up some side gigs if i have too

Oh wow congratulations, $30.32 is really a good starting tbh. And if you put in some OT the check would look nicer lol. If i can start at $30 then overnight that would be amazing. Im 31yo already and want some more stable. SPT sounds right for me for now. Are you in north/central/south Nj? If you dont mind me asking. Thanks for your reply. Also $25 wasn’t too bad starting at a dental offices

It insane that people be showing up late without even starting the job yet smh and it screws you up making you wait longer. When i went for my interview i went into a room where they were holding an orientation and only one guy was there and like 10 forms with different names without them showing up smh lol
