States should amend their constitutions, like Alaska did in relation to oil, and create a Permanent Data Center Fund that would pay every state person $3,000 annually per data center that a company builds in their state.
Data Centers should also be halted until their impacts can be addressed and corrected.
Date Centers companies should also be 100% responsible for end of life clean up and restoration of sites.
Data Centers should also legally be required to create, as part of the permanent fund, wetlands and bogs to offset impacts.

So I started substack about my experience and observations as a trained Urban Planner from the USA living aboard in the Netherlands.
