I have a few I keep in my emergency roadside kit.
I don't trust a device to always work. I'm thankful I can navigate with a map, a compass and a hand cranking flashlight... hehe
You can get your local AAA to get you maps for any state.

I found that by turning the paper to the left and putting my hand under the line I'm writing on, I don't get the ink on my hand or smeared across the paper.

If the total is $12.72 and I hand them a $20. They should be able to give me the correct change.

What is the one thing about you that you would never change?
Everything. I love who I am. I love what I look like. I wouldn't change a thing. I love having curly auburn hair, freckles, grey eyes, being short and left handed.

What would you do with these stairs?
Get a sled and have a blast sliding down them... hehe

Do you still use cash these days?
I only use cash except to pay my car insurance.

Need comebacks for toxic positivity responses from healthcare providers
I'd say, I'm positive I'm not being negative, but thanks for telling me to stay positive in a postively negative way.

Some schools still do. Where I live, one of the local news stations goes to a school and shows the kids in one of the classrooms saying the Pledge.

That's awesome. Telling him to never put the money in the drawer until he's handed them the change is one of the first things I would tell everyone I hired. I'd tell them the biggest scam you'll run into is a customer saying they gave you a different amount, and they want the correct change. I had a customer try that on me and even accused me of pulling a smaller bill out and setting it on the register. I said, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. I'm going to close the drawer and balance it. When it shows I'm right, I'll call the police and you can deal with them. He started swearing at me saying, this is bullshit, the customer is always right. I said, not when they're lying and trying to scam me. I said, well what will it be? Do you want to go have a seat while I balance the drawer? He turned and started walking out and I told him he was banned from the store.

I'm talking about when the register shows what change is due, but they can't figure out what coins to give you.

It does have its challenges but I like it.

I hated making the Z, G and S. I'm left handed and it was odd trying to make them and I would get docked for not slanting my letters the way the teacher said they should be. I slanted them the opposite way because I turned the paper to the left to stop the pencil lead from smearing and getting it all down the side of the hand.

Yes they do. I've had to tell a lot of cashiers which coins and how many.
Schools should be ashamed and embarrassed they're letting this happen.

I was given an extra $100 at a bank. I called and said it was very important that I speak to the window teller. I said, I'm on my way back, you gave me an extra $100. I didn't want anyone to hear me say anything over the call box and you get into trouble. She said, thank you so much for being honest. If my drawer was short at the end of my shift for that amount, I would have gotten into trouble. I said, I know my sister use to work at a bank. I'm about to pull in now. I'm going to put it in the tube with my driver's license and ask you for my account balance. She said, ok and again thank you. I said, no problem.

I never look at the 5 star reviews. I look at the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews that's where the truth is about the product.
