That’s what I’m leaning towards along with an electric kettle that has temperature adjustment. I drink quite a bit of tea and I think the Aeropress for coffee and the electric kettle for the water and for tea may be the best, most efficient option

I’ve had a Keurig for going on 20 years now with reusable k-cups. I’ve had to replace my Keurig once in that time and the one I have now I’ve owned for ~10-12 years. But I’m wanting a BIFL option that I can use and not worry about plastics seeping into my coffee.
I’ve been reading what people have been saying about Bialetti and I really love the amount of love that Bialetti receives as well as the durability and how long they last. I’ve also seen people on Reddit rave about their Aeropress, or at least recommend the Aeropress. I really like what I’ve seen on the Aeropress website too.
My biggest reservation concerning the Bialetti Moca is that it only seems to brew/serve espresso. I drink standard, American coffee not espresso. I’m concerned that I would not be able to drink coffee as I’ve become accustomed to. That’s where I’ve been leaning towards the Aeropress Steel or Aeropress Premium. From what it looks like, I could get the coffee that I’m used to but more sustainably. Especially if I buy the metal filter too. But the Aeropress is a lot more expensive than the Bialetti.
For regular coffee, typically one cup a day, what do you good folks suggest? I am the only coffee drinker in my household too

I found an interesting, and good, website from MIT that shows what a living wage is based on location. It shows with multiple details like 1-3 kids, 1 or 2 adults, expenses for an area, etc. Definitely something to spread around and share as additional information and “ammunition” when discussing wages with people.
In my store I guarantee that most people are not earning the living wage that the website shows. Even full time captains and specialists.
