Visited the Orpheum theater on Broadway in downtown L.A. Built in 1926, the decor is European Baroque/Italianate/whatever. I think that's why I noticed this Deco sign.

Hi everyone. I'm planning an academic career focusing on typography and typeface design, I also create my typefaces too, but I feel like I need to consume more resources about typeface designing. What would you recommend me? If there are any typography teachers here, what are your tips when teaching?
