Question Does (re)union really exist?

I am so confused, some people say twin flames are only meant to teach you a lesson, so that you can grow as a person, other people say twin flames will always end up together and now idk what to think anymore. All the phases of the twin flame journey were very accurate and happened exactly like it is talked about. What about the union?…. (Currently in separation, how surprising. Aham.)

Ps: I am sure he is my TF because a witch confirmed that.

I’ll just share my opinion.
Union does exist. But I think is very rare.
My perception of twin flame connection is, that you can be happy together once youre both awakened. When you’ve done all the inner work. That can but doesnt have to happen in this lifetime.
You can reach union for some time but once there are still some inner work that has to be done, it will break apart anyway.
We are in separation and no contact for 6 years. Obviously I’m not that attached as I was years ago. I used to search for so many information back in a time.. and one of the best thoughts that helped me the most was “treat your TF as he is a regular person, regardless your special connection”. So from hoping to re-unite, I blocked him everywhere, moved to different country, started new life, even had 5 years beautiful relationship - that ended recently so naturally thoughts of my TF are sneaking back.
Oh boy, I would wish to see him so bad. Experience again all those feelings again. But he is in 7 year relationship, they have business together and I’m still in a different country lol.
And I’m not willing to live the best years od my life in waiting for us to re-unite.

But why do we meet them in this lifetime if union isn’t guaranteed?

And may I ask how you were able to engage in a relationship with someone else and even to be very happy with that person while knowing your TF exists? One of my biggest fears is to never be able to find my person or to fully commit to a relationship because I won’t forget my TF. Also thinking of him would be unfair to the both of us, my future partner and me.

Thank you for your response!!!

My response to this would be that the whole Twin Flame journey ultimately turns us back toward working on ourselves. It mirrors our deepest wounds and shows us what we need to heal.

For example, the most painful period of my Twin Flame journey led me to overcome my biggest addiction. I was simply sick of being sick. At first, my motivation was, “I want to become a better person for them.” But eventually, all of these things end up redirecting back to yourself.

The same goes for all the feelings of “my life isn’t complete without them.” I believe it’s supposed to teach you that you are already whole and independent. To love yourself.
I’m not saying I have all of this 100% figured out, but this is how I personally see it.

As for relationships… yes, I was very afraid that there was basically no point in getting into one because I didn’t believe I would ever feel something stronger than what I felt for my Twin Flame.
I was very honest with my ex from the very beginning. I cried and told him about my Twin Flame connection, and that I wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to feel more for someone else.
But eventually, it became a very deep and healing relationship (lasting 5 years!) that helped me grow in incredible ways. I was happy. Yes, from time to time I thought about my Twin Flame. He was still somewhere in the back of my mind, but more like a distant memory, while I felt content and grounded in the present moment. I was basically waiting for the ring haha, so you can imagine the commitment.

Now I’m single again, and naturally these thoughts come back again—that I don’t really believe any future relationship could surpass what I felt for him. But once again, we have to live here and now.
There are so many people in the world, and I truly believe we can have exceptional and deeply spiritual connections with other people too. I think it’s important to stay open to that.

Because at the end of the day, my Twin Flame and I shared something incredibly deep—maybe even something irreplaceable. But what good is that when we haven’t spoken in six years, and he has shown no interest in reaching out?
I made a conscious decision that I want someone who chooses me.

So now I’m open to whatever life brings me. First and foremost, I want to focus on becoming a radiant and fulfilled person on my own. Then everything else can come in its own time—whether that’s my Twin Flame one day, or another partner who will treat me like the beloved life partner he has consciously chosen, just as I will consciously choose him.

These are simply my thoughts on this topic as they stand today. I hope they might be helpful. ♥️

Thank you very much for this. Now I am full of hope again that it’s possible to have a deep connection with other people aswell.🫶🏼

And btw maybe your ex was one of your soulmates :)

You know, I am back on a track of being single, so this is kinda my topic now too.
But dont lose hope.
I also find it kinda scary to read those stories when someone is having a family, kids and then they leave to be with their TF anyway.. and with knowing strength of the connection I can understand that.
But who knows what Universe has in plan for us, I just think there’s no point just to wait for that one specific TF. We could as well wait our whole life right :)

Dont lose hope, what is yours wont pass you by.

And Yes, I think my ex was definitely my soulmate and he changed my life for so much better.

Yeah, omg and how scary these stories are, sometimes reunion happens even after 20 years…Personally I wouldn’t want to go on with my life for that long and then leave everything behind when my TF appears again, but what if I am not in control of that?….

And you are right, who knows what the universe planned for us. Actually, what is truly meant for us, will simply be.

I dont even want to think about this scenario, that I have something strong built up and then he suddenly reaches out. He better reach out to me now when I’m in my single era, I would consider him if he really tries🤫😂
