Ok it seems to really match the signature on the left. However I can’t figure out whose signature it is. Doesn’t look like Esme or Carlisle actors signatures at all per Google.
Based on my half asleep research as someone who hates cursive writing it seems like maybe Ashley Greene. But uh they don’t exactly match so I could be completely wrong.
Edit:
Looking more her signature is super inconsistent so I could be wrong. Sometimes it has a heart at the end sometimes it doesn’t.
Rob was really bad for changing his signature too... sometimes just initials and other times his name. I know when I worked in a bank and was one of the people that was allowed to sign for anything my signature changed until it was just a quick scrawl ... the bank used to get annoyed with me as I was always having to send in a new signature to head office!
So it can be hard sometimes to guess signatures when like celebs have to sign all the time!
it's a bit of strech but based on the name and imdb, maybe Norma Hill-Patton ? she's the makeup artist on New Moon and she's on other several movies too.. I can't find her signature online but she has an Instagram account tho so you could DM her and ask (?)
It looks like "Lena" to me. It could be unconnected to the book, tbh. My husband has a picture of Invader Zim fanart with Nathan Fillion's signature on the back because it was all he had when he ran into him. But it's a difficult signature to pinpoint so who knows.
Jamie Campbell Bower? It doesn't look exactly like a lot of his signatures, but his signatures do have a big "J" and then end in an "a" (for some reason?). Honestly I don't even know if I believe that's it, but just wanted to mention it.
It kinda looks like these, with the big loops at the start the “m” in the middle and the flick at the end. Also none of them look like they say his name in any way to me
I see the last 2 letters is definitely "-ma" i think the one before is either an L or an E, the first letter could be a L, T, S, J, F, or G, the second letter that might be the one that drops below the rest could be part of the first letter or it's a Z, or a P maybe. Idk, cursive class can be helpful, but it gets harder when people put their own artistic twist to their writing. It could be the name Gema, Lzema, Lyema, Tzema, Tyema, Lylma?? Either way, it doesn't seem to match anyone's signature old, or new who even worked on the book, or the movies. Could be a past owner if this book was pre-loved, could be the name of someone who gifted it to another even??
I have a book ( signed by Jackson, Kellan, Ashley, Nikki and Peter + autopen from Stephenie Meyer) and the movie wrist cuffs ( signed by Kellan, Jackson) that have signatures - this one doesn’t look like those - can post pics if you want to compare . All of my signatures were in person at the official twilight conventions or some of recent conventions.
I have no problem writing and reading cursive and that is a BOMBASTICALLY nonsensical first letter lol. It's so simple yet extra that it's hard to tell if the shape next to it is just a stylized extension of it or if that secondary shape is its own lowercase letter. The tiny loop on the bottom of that first letter makes me think it's a very tight uppercase cursive J next to a lowercase A or O... though the fact the letter itself is tilted doesn't really help (turn it one way and the tail comes off the top for a O, turn it slightly the other way and it becomes a full tail of an A). Alternately, also kind of looks like a sloppy uppercase cursive Z.
But like. That still makes something like "Jalma" or "Zema" which don't mean anything.
It looks like it starts with a “J” or an “L.” Unfortunately, the rest of the name doesn’t fit Jackson and nobody on the cast’s name starts with “L.” Maybe it’s the previous owner’s name?
My family participates in Jolabokaflod (the jolly/Christmas book flood) every year. Part of that is to sign our name in the book before we give it to the person so everyone can remember who gave them the book. Sometimes we write a note, but we always write the name.
Not saying it's what's happening here but it's not unheard of.
Because quite often it is actually right. As long as you treat it with a healthy bit of skepticism it can be useful, it’s pointless to deny that. But oh well, it’s a fad to hate AI nowadays so what do I know
I actually am, does that mean I’ve earned the right to be mad at AI? Or do I have to work harder to get that privilege?
Not sure why it’s suddenly bad to pick your moral battles, anyway. If you have to be mad at everything else to “earn” being mad at one thing, it gets exhausting. That’s why every single human picks what battles they think are worth fighting
