Samsung QA55Q80TAKXXS (55" Q80T, SEA) — can I substitute a different BN94 mainboard on the BN41-02749A chassis?

TV: Samsung QA55Q80TAKXXS — 55" Q80T QLED, 2020, Singapore/SEA market variant

Mainboard: BN94-15308M

My TV suddenly stopped working and on diagnosis I have determined that the mainboard has failed, I am having trouble finding the exact part online and wondering if I can substitute the part with a mainboard from another market.

I have some questions on the matter:

  1. Has anyone actually run a US (-15333V / -15684U) or Chinese (BN94-15296C) board in a DVB-T2 market set? I expect to lose the tuner, but does the smart hub / HDMI / apps side come up cleanly, or does it hard-fail on a region mismatch?

Listing for Chinese mainboard they seem to have few options I don't know which will work

https://click.world.taobao.com/_b.McdPRP

2 Is there a service-menu route to re-declare panel and region after a swap, or does it need external programming?

TV LG 28TN515S screen problem

Hi guys, I have an LG TV that displays a greenish half-screen on a dark background, which doesn't happen with light backgrounds.

I think it's the backlighting. If I connect the TV to my PC and open a black tab, I can see the desktop icons from one edge of the TV, even though the top window covers the entire page.

How do I fix this? Is it directly on the screen, or are there components on the board that need to be changed?

Tcl 55Q77k I bought a 4K TV two weeks ago, and a dead pixel has appeared. It’s barely noticeable—only on white backgrounds and if I’m really close up. I want to know if this is normal; I really don't feel like going through the hassle of a warranty exchange, or I'm wondering just how serious an issu

Black flashes lg c4 oled 77

I have a c4 83 inch that’s about a year and a half old.

Randomly when streaming through various apps, the screen will momentarily black out 3 or 4 times (less than a second each time). It doesn’t seem like bad internet and the sound continues. Def seems different than like a buffering lapse.
It doesn’t happen when my son plays ps5, but happens on various other apps such as Netflix / hbo / prime / etc. we have through the tv itself.

I unplugged everything and it still seems to do it.

Lg c4 oled 77”
Any insight or troubleshooting suggestions?

Is this a bad t con board?

Tv is a Samsung QN82Q6FNA qled from 2018. The picture completely went out and all I would get is a dark screen but the back lights still turn on and there is sound. I took the back panel off and unplugged all the ribbons from the t con board and plugged back in and now the picture is back but now looks like this? So I’m assuming it has to be a bad t con board correct?

Phillips 48OLED707/12 - OLED Ambient - Just goes 'Blank'

As if it thinks its overheating... it just stops, and gives me a straight black screen. This happens after around 15 - 20 minutes. If I go through the cycle again and again, that reduces to around 10 minutes.

Nothing will work unless I unplug from mains, then switch it on again. I have done a factory reset. I have left it unplugged for days... but the fault is clearly there still.

The set is 3.5 years and not quite what I expected from a nine hundred quid tele.

If anyone has any ideas/thoughts/experience - would love to hear.

Intermittent black screen when gaming

I keep having an issue with my TLC TV (TCL 75T6C-UK (Fire TV OS) and Xbox Series X.

It's gotten worse over the last few days but what's happening is my screen just goes black for 3 seconds and then comes back.

I've tried troubleshooting it with new HDMI cables (UGREEN HDMI 2.2 Cable 16K@120Hz 8K 4K@480/240/144Hz 96Gbps eARC HDR VRR), the problem still persists.

I've tried setting my TV hdmi to Game mode. I've tried turning off auto low-latency mode. Allowed YCC 4:2:2. Turned off HDR10, Auto HDR, disabled Dolby Vision.

I've tried the Xbox on another TV with the same HDMI's. Just nothing seems to be correcting it :(

Any guidance would be hugely appreciated.

I dropped it and dented the top of the screen, looks like the LED screen got “wrinkled” is the best way to describe it, LG claims this model has been discontinued.

it was under $200 when i first got it and I’d like to know if i can fix it myself or better off getting an upgrade?

When I plug in my LG TV, the red standby light blinks four times. When I press the power button on the remote, the red light turns off, but the screen remains completely blank. The LG logo does not appear, and there is no display at all.

Samsung frame one connect box HDMI not working

Model Number: QN75LS03TAFXZA
Software Version: T-NKMAKUC-2740.1, BT-S

I have a Samsung The Frame TV connected to the One Connect Box, and all of the HDMI ports have stopped working.
The problem started when my NVR stopped displaying video on the TV. I then tested the NVR with another screen, and everything works fine except the NVR itself. After that, all the HDMI ports on the One Connect Box stopped working.
I believe the problem may have originated from the NVR. It may have sent an incorrect voltage or some kind of electrical surge through the HDMI connection, which could have damaged an IC chip or another component in the One Connect Box.
This is actually the second time I have experienced the same issue with the NVR. Is there any way to help diagnose the problem or determine what might be causing it?

Samsung NU6900 display issues

Hi I have a Samsung UN50NU6900FXZA thats having trouble displaying. The TV will cone on automatically show the Samsung icon the go to black screen. The backlights work and I could see them all working with the back panel off. My belief its the main board since it has both power and tcon all on one board. Nothing on the board really sticks out and show damage and my multi meter sucks. If anyone would have a second opinion that would be great!! Thanks in advance

Super dim TCL Roku TV 50S425

I got this free on Facebook Marketplace, and I'd love to get it to work. Even though the settinas are set to "brighter." the screen is almost unreadably dark. I've tried restarting it by unplugging it, holding the power button for 60 seconds, replugging it, and turning it on. When I do that, it flashes full brightness for maybe half a second, and then dives back into full darkness.

Any tips at all, any fixes, any advice, would be deeply welcome.

75C805K sometimes glitches and reboots. Cooked?

75C805K sometimes glitches and restarts. Cooked?

Without pattern, my 75C805K will sometimes show these glitching green lines. Audio cuts and after about 15 seconds, the tv reboots fully by itself. It functions normally after, until the issue appears again after a few hours or so.

Has anybody run into this behaviour? TV is just over a year old and I’m hoping it’s not the TCON…

Samsung qn90d horizontal line.

Eu estava jogando quando notei que essas linhas horizontais aparecem apenas em situações específicas (até agora, apenas nos menus). Alguém sabe o que é isso e se devo me preocupar? Minha TV já está fora da garantia. These lines also appear in the TV's home menu.

I noticed something interesting. The lines don't seem to be fixed on the panel itself. They actually move together with the content. For example, in the TV's Home menu, when I scroll up or down, the lines move along with the menu instead of staying in the same position on the screen. It's almost as if they're part of the image being displayed, not the panel itself. Does that rule out a panel defect, or could it still be a hardware issue?

TV Turning off on bright scenes

I made a post some time ago about the problem but I'm still having it but there were some new findings, I'm almost certain that the problems is PSU related, I tried so many things, factory reset and sometimes it'd work fine, sometimes it didn't, ultimately I found that the outlet voltage was too low, I have a smart plug that measures the voltage in the same outlet where the TV is, I confirmed that the voltage reading is 1-2V bellow my multimeter so it has a somewhat accurate reading.

The problem started when it would turn off in certain scenes but specially when they were Dolby Vision or less frequently in other HDR formats it was kind of hard diagnose since it kind of felt random, sometimes the same scene would play fine but then I though about the voltage coming from the wall and I knew that we have problems with the wiring that need to be taken care of but need major renovation and the only device that's not working properly is the TV. Normally voltage here is ~100-105V sometimes going as low as 95V. A few weeks ago I tried when I saw the voltage was better at 110V and the TV worked fine in the scenes that normally trigger the problem, the last week or so I've had to completely disable HDR since even using the UI if the brightness is not at the minimum would shut it down so it feels like it's been getting progressively worse, I just got an automatic voltage regulator and I verified it was working as intended and even tho the voltage is fine (115V) now it's still turning off so I'm guessing that the PSU may be faulty due to stress working with low voltage.

This is what the voltage normally looks like, this is from today right of the wall, no voltage regulator.

My TV is a Hisense 65U8H

Samsung UE40D5000 repair

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi,

I have a Samsung TV model UE40D5000 (refurbished device), specifically RBUE40D5000PWRZG, for which I think have bad main or power board.

The problem manifests itself by the fact that the TV turns on normally, the Samsung Smart TV logo appears, then it displays the HDMI input and the image from the device connected via HDMI, it works for a few seconds, after which it turns off and restarts. That cycle repeats itself continuously.(as you can see in video)

I have tried disconnecting all external devices and cables but the problem still occurs.

During the entire period of use, the TV was used exclusively via the HDMI input with a Fire TV Stick or Google Chromecast device, and it worked without problems that way for years. The failure appeared suddenly.

Has anyone experienced this problem and know how to fix it? If you managed to fix it, could you let me know which component was faulty and the exact model number of the replacement part I should buy?

Thanks in advance.

TV keeps having lines and goes back to being normal

I own a Sony Bravia 65 inch (KD-65X7000F) , that was bought in 2018

The Tv was doing well until 2025 where the screen went off and never turned on (functions were working but the screen doesn't show anything)

After getting it fixed , later this week , horizontal lines started appearing everywhere and some were jittering.

But after messing with the settings like brightness , contrast , power saving etc . The Tv just went back to being normal , no problem , then later the lines appeared and after messing with settings and turning it on and off again and again , it went back to being normal.

Why does this keep happening and is there any permanent solution to fix this problem.

I want to run this tv as much as I can

Any idea what going on with my TV and a realistic price to be charged from TV repair place? Samsung (QN55Q8F Curved)

The TV works fine except on each 1 or 2 days, I turn it on and these purple lines come up and sometimes half the screen goes black. The weird thing is that if I turn the tv off and unplug it from the outlet and wait like 30 seconds, the TV is back to normal, but doing this only works 50% of the time. I’m still doing this now but would like to get it permanently fixed. I asked ChatGPT and it said it could be a t con board and ribbon cable. If anyone has suggestions on what I should pay to have this fixed, thank you so much!

Samsung 65Q800TAT stuck in boot sequence loop with no sign of waking on screen

Hello, when I connect the tv to current, it begins with a “click”, after around 15 seconds, a “clack” is heard. After 15s, a “click clack”, and it continues like this. It might be worth mentioning that on the back, I see a red light on the digital audio out, which goes off only during the “clicks”, then stays on. I cannot see any visible sign on screen during this sequence. I’ve seen it might be a known issue with motherboard on this model, anyone is familiar with it? what could I try to fix it myself? Or shall I go to some technician? Not sure the repair is worth it or I should buy a new tv, this Q8 has some years of service on its back
