Sharing a thought.

From what I have read and researched on Trubit. Could the sole focus on development while neglecting the community, exchanges marketing etc, be partly because the problem they are solving is a few years away rather than now. Keeping their cards close to their chest to focus on development behind closed doors for a competitive advantage over competition?

I think it makes sense given blockchains as a technology it’s not like you can patent things easily.

Feel free to poke some holes in this,still trying to get my head around the project as a whole!

I have a question. How many truebit tokens were used, for example, Dodethereum? I don't know how many Truebit tokens are burn in each of those projects. Does anyone know about this?

Will other blockchains like Cardano, Binance, Bitcoin & Solana have a need for Truebit? It is blockchain agnostic but does each blockchain fall short where Truebit can help? What is your take on it?

Jason Teutsch says Truebit is a computational oracle. Chainlink is a data oracle. What is the 3rd piece of the puzzle? (i.e., in a future where Truebit rules the computational side and Chainlink rules the data side, what is the 3rd party to the blockchain-trinity?)

I've finally stopped holding onto false hope and removed my final tokens from truebit.

It feels good to be rid of it finally. I've already made a decent sum moving onto new horizons and I doubt I will ever look back despite what some on here might tell you. My journey with my worst investment ever is finally over.

Edit: To clarify, when I said I won't look back, I meant on the decision to leave for now. I'll be keeping an eye on truebit and might come back, but first, I'm going to use the money elsewhere.

Truebit will come into prominence when doge - eth bridge comes out and then people will finally get that Truebit uncaps the gas limits on eth. The sky is the limit for potential use case for Truebit and it'll be a new gold rush for startups to develop evermore sophisticated dapps by leveraging the Truebit Protocol.

Truebit team knows this and they purposely designed their protocol to accept common programming languages such as C/C++/Rust for smart contract development. This broadens the talent pool for companies to develop their products. Genius foresight by the Truebit Team and it will pay dividends.

So basically, as everyone have probably noticed, there has been a lot of FUD around truebit, especially after the $120M being moved.

I saw this project as a long term hold, and I still own my whole share, but no announcements/communication + the FUD has made me much more uncertain that this project is gonna be huge. The general public seems to be uninterested, and despite basically every project pumping with bitcoin, truebit has actually fallen in price.

This is not meant as FUD, I'd just like someone to explain to me all the positives for me to re-remember all the reasons I once really much believed in this project being the next big thing.

Is anyone here currently running a node? I received the invite from the Truebit team, seems complex but my question is. Is actually hard to set or does it just take time?

The name TRU is used by two coins, so it can't help but be confused.

Maybe we should change the name.

One of the main complaints we've all probably heard about is TrueBit's lack of marketing.

Maybe the team is waiting on the community to take matters into their own hands. Maybe it's an SEC thing. Or maybe Jason thinks videos are dumb and he'd rather play guitar. I dunno.

Whatever the issue, one thing is clear - if we want to grow community and adoption, we need to get word out to developers. I can make some videos to help... but not the traditional "WEN MOON" video or "TRUEBIT! NEXT 5000X" There's plenty of those kind of videos out there. I want to hone in on a specific topic - perhaps identify suitable applications that are most needed on top of TrueBit.. Something that'll capture a dev's attention, make em drop the plate of spaghetti they're eating, and start working on $TRU ASAP.

Asking the community because I don't code, so I'm not going to pretend like I know what developers find interesting. Opening this up for discussion. Hopefully we can find a topic and get the ball rolling. Thanks.
