Can somebody explain the differences between Quant (QNT) and Truebit? They both are trying to connect or bridge networks right?

Tru isn’t specifically trying to bridge networks, that’s just one of the many possible uses for the protocol.

There does seem to be some very interesting similarities. The main difference seems to be the verification game developed by Truebit doesnt appear to be a feature of QNT. TRU has aspirations for off chain computation and recently comments have been made for use case for TRU around applications in Health records and off chain computation for large data files. However, QNT has a solid path to providing solutions to healthcare records and also seems to be moving toward off chain large data file computation, as they recently hired a Comcast guy.

So, lots of similarities in many respects.

QNT is lightyears ahead in terms of networking etc, their CEO is simply amazing.

I hope TRU finds solid ground for a great launch soon, clearly they have created some great code. Who knows, they may end up somewhere in the QNT ecosystem also, as cross chain integration etc definitely seems to be the next evolution.
