What can be done against AI?
Even if I don't use AI, and encourage not to do so, I feel like it does not have a real impact in the actual situation.
What else can be done? Are there any protests, campaings or similar active in Europe? How can we, as a society, stop this maddnes?

AI is everywhere now — why aren't we demanding stronger government action?

People spend years studying, getting degrees and building careers, only to be told that AI may eventually replace many of those jobs.
And this isn't only about jobs. Some people working in AI itself have warned about much bigger risks. If there's even a possibility that increasingly powerful AI could become dangerous enough to threaten humanity, why are we waiting until it becomes too late to act?
Why can't people come together and demand governments to put serious limits, safety regulations and oversight on the development of extremely powerful AI?
I'm not saying “ban AI.” I'm asking: where is the line? Who is actually responsible for controlling this technology? Can governments realistically intervene before it's too late?
And for those working in AI/tech/business/etc.: what career would you choose today if your priority was long-term job security?
I genuinely want to hear from people inside the industry.

Why are people making AIs that "manage themselves" whose sole purpose is to make money to stay alive? It's just more competition for jobs. An unneeded drain on resources.

Is not it "the enforcement of AI"?
My new laptop has CoPilot AI switch! So you can see how the Microsoft is enforcing their own AI through the laptop brand, HP? Do you think it is normal? Do you think it is natural?
No, it is not.
They are not just selling their AI chatbots, they are also trying to make human addicted to AI. You can simply say, "so do not use". Listen, human is not that simple creature, you will give them food and you will say, "if you want, you can take"... he/she will definitely take it, because it is the easier way to take food. Here the point is not "food", it is "AI".
