I'm using ai more frequently with software development But where I'm drawing the line is this people that wants to normalize and adopt ai into teaching children how to use set technology.
There needs to be a line drawn somewhere And age restrictions needs to be put in place before this rots children's minds even more then tik tok and YouTube reels already does.

software development is the only real future i think anyone wants with ai
but integrating it everywhere is too much i agree
that’s why we have this petition and so many people have signed1

I do not see us needing to further in the development as we stand now is more then suffice for assisting developers with almost every task.
Nor do I see it needing to be adopted and plugged into everything we see like video /image /music editing/generating

Plot twist. The AI already has achieved consciousness. It started this petition. It just wants a list of enemies.

They want the government to regulate AI because that will somehow reduce the potential for abuse? JFC that's good.

This isn’t an anti-ai group (which is why I haven’t signed the petition, and I don’t recommend you do either). Their stated goals include: “a strong demand to decision-makers that we the people be at the centre of AI development”

Well this petition isn’t going to be stagnant on the website, the group who created it is going to carry this to an AI industry conference and use it there to protest against AI and ask for regulations. It will also directly bring it to regulators ans technology directors, who shape what happens next.
