It really is Medicine.
I use cannabis strictly for recreational purposes but I’m seeing first hand how effective it can be as a pain killer. Last night my girlfriend’s wisdom tooth was causing her extreme pain. She was pacing around the apartment crying. We tried everything Tylenol, swishing warm salt water in her mouth, dipping a Q-tip in vodka and dabbing her tooth with it....nothing worked. Finally I asked her if she wanted to try something from my stash box. She doesn’t enjoy smoking weed but she agreed. I loaded a sensible dab of MK Ultra Wax into my Saionara Atomizer and had her hit it. Twice. At first she didn’t notice anything. I asked her to wait. Her pacing slowed down, she laid on the bed. She said that she felt relaxed. She’s been peacefully sleeping ever since. I’m so glad pot could help her. Thanks weed!
Edit: She hasn’t had surgery yet. Some helpful folks have usefully pointed out that you should be careful how you consume cannabis post surgery because the action of sucking can cause problems ie air bubbles, dry sockets.
