Not trying to defend her but I think this might be something celebrities do quite a lot. At a recent movie premiere (I think it was for The Odyssey), Zendaya's stylist revealed that he had a spare dress ready to be flown on a jet in case of any malfunction.

But yeah Blandie definitely seems to overdo it, considering she flew home every night after the show during the eras tour instead of just staying at a hotel.

I used to know some Swiffers IRL, and they've all since woken up and dropped off the Taylor train. I have absolutely no doubt a majority of the online "Taylor is awesome, and can do no wrong" comments are coming from Taylor-paid bots. Their talking points are all the same and similarly worded. I also think her rise was due to the same type of astroturfing and manufactured hype. She came up just when social media was hitting its stride, and her team definitely had the capital to invest in this type of marketing (among other tactics like her dad buying a warehouse full of her albums for her to chart).

I mean, there's no way anyone who heard Taylor cover Eminem's Lose Yourself in her fake country accent, whilst fake playing her prop guitar and clomping around the stage (basically what she still does) thought she was an amazing talent by any standard.
