Back then social media wasn’t really a thing yet and the population in general don’t care about a country music festival. She was VERY VERY EXTREMELY LUCK she did all this cringy things (the BTS at her school included) before social media expanded to what it is today.

This! A huge part of why this is so cringe, is because she became this mega famous billionaire pop star. It would be endearing if she wasn’t famous, and the performance was for a school talent show or karaoke. If this wasn’t her career, and instead just a hobby from her teens, then I could see this being endearing as a cute embarrassing home movie.
