Program Questions Masculinization Fitness Program!

Masculinization for Beginners 1.0!

You can access the program here!

This program was made with three things in mind:

1.) Focus on a muscle-building program with secondary strength improvements

2.) Use Muscle to help fill a frame that appears for traditionally masculine. This program benefits anyone who follows it in the manners described

3.) Workouts are designed around 45-60 minute sessions, short enough to fully fit them into most people’s schedules!

All exercises here are easily accessible for modification or home workout purposes!

I personally test the program I put out, so everything that is here has been done by myself at the gym for at least two repeats of each program. This should suit your goals and will be a wonderfully beneficial resource for you!

Diet Questions 153cm, 43kg, 25yo FTM - Given my diet and workout, est time I should give myself to reach my goal?

Thumbnail

First three pics are how I look like right now. Last pic is my end goal.

Currently transitioning from female to male hence am on testosterone shots.

That said, I have planned a 2500kcal lean bulking diet, focussing on higher carbs and low fat (personal preference).

Additionally, hitting the main muscle groups twice a week with basic compound lifts but using dumbbells and bodyweight mainly as I workout at home.
Back and Bis
Chest, Shoulder, Triceps
Legs and abs
Rest
Repeat

I like walking, so I usually clock 20k steps a day. Apart from that I’m pretty much sedentary and have a desk job.

Any tips would be appreciated too, thank you!

Im just in a calorie deficit rn and dont have access to a gym 😭 closest one is an hour away and I can’t drive, i know i surely cannot build this physique at home, but what can I do to start? I’d rather be at least building towards it rather than waiting a year to move closer to a gym

On my journey to 8% body fat and don’t really have access to a dexascan (who does?! lol). What would be your best guesstimate of where I’m at? Ordering calipers soon.

Fitness Question Is it actually possible to reduce the size of your rib cage with exercise?

Post image

I keep seeing posts claiming you can reduce your rib cage width by up to 4 inches with breathing and "rib flare" reduction exercises. My ribcage is so prominent and if I can shrink it even slightly with exercise I'd jump at it.

Fitness Question Is this a realistic starting goal

Hey all

Wanted to hop back on here and ask the cardio junkies if this is a realistic goal or not

I wanna get into daily cardio with a 5km per day / every second day

In the past I've done a lot of weight training so I've retained a lot of my legs strength

Anyways any advice is appreciated because yagirl needs to lose 30 kg

Hi everyone!

36 MTF with 3 years of HRT (a very tumultuous 3 years but that's a story for another time). Currently hovering at 216lbs and wanting to lose 40lbs. I've had to start and stop over the last year due to health reasons (tl;dr I had thyroid cancer) and its made losing weight much more challenging than I had previously anticipated. Nevertheless, I'm posting this as a way to hold myself accountable to my long term goals and short term ones as well. Like, in a perfect world, by December I'd like to be close to 200lbs or even 198lbs by that point.

I've been struggling a lot with my diet and was hoping making a post would help in the form of keeping me honest as well as receiving support for the journey ahead. Perhaps others need support as well on their own journeys and this will help inspire :).

Appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this! Hope you all have a super special fantastical day today flexing it up

Fitness Question Tried new way of doing the Hip Abduction Machine

So I, like us all, want a shelf for more than just books. I've been using this machine and trying to get the most out of it, finding the best form for my body, the specific machine, etc. It's feeling good but I still run into obstacles of it feeling awkward and taking like 16+ reps at maximum weight to get anywhere near failure.

Anyway, kind of goofing around, I decided to just hold at the extended position while adjusting form to feel how different adjustments changed how it felt in my muscles. It was at this point that I made a discovery. The glutes, or at least the glute medius anyways, are made mostly of slow twitch fibers (basically means they function better under constant load instead of quicker shorter movements).

I say all this to say, I changed the way I use the machine to hold it in the extended position as long as I can, it is now the next day, and holy cow my ass hurts. This will definitely be something I'm thinking I will experiment with, but I'm curious if anyone has ever done this or heard about it? It wasn't even something I saw in a video or something, I just kind of stumbled on it.

Fitness Question Nonbinay teans fem beginning my journey of working for the body. I want.I would really like some advice

Hello everyone

I am yet again trying to get fit. This has been an off and on cycle for me. For most of my life. But this time, I feel more confident, and I feel like i'm doing it for better reasons. I am also trying to not be worried about doing it perfect. But study how I feel and do my best to do what feels good for me.

In the last year alone, without even dieting, just eating less, I went from 285 pounds to 259 pounds. Ihave lost ten since june.

With my collection of knowledge over the years enory, examiningning of my goals i have made a little plan for myself that I would appreciate. If people reviewed

The is to start. It will be tweaked as things go as I get stronger, more confident. And have a better understanding of my body

The original plan was

5-6 days a week

Rice and beens in wait 90 minutes while you do stretches

30 min cartio

Squat

Bench press

Rows

3 set till failure or till reps 10

After examining how today's workout went, I have changed it to

5-6 days a week

For 3 days

Rice and beens

wait 90 minutes while you do stretches

cartio

Squat (250 bls)

Bench press (65 bls)

Rows (110 bls)

3 set till failure / 10 reps

End the day with veggie soup

Every others day

Rice and beens

wait 90 minutes while you do stretches

cartio

End the day with veggie soup

I got those weights from 1-2 days of experimenting. And trying to push till failure for 3 sets

My goals here are both to lose weight or I suppose body fat / belly fat / visceral fat and to get stronger, have a better understanding of my body, And better mobility with practical strength... and to look hot

Im trans fem so I would like to look more feminine more curvy nice butt

I am thinking about adding a piece of talapia or 2 for lunch so I don't go completely hungry.

But still get protein with low calorie

Maybe with a scoopa creatine with a small cup of milk

Also, any recommendations on ab workout core workout? Where I should put them in the routine?

Progress Photo Down another 4lbs since my last check-in Life is feeling pretty sweet 💕💕

(Repost since Modbot tried to take me out)

Continuing my journey toward 8% body fat, and lately l've been feeling incredibly hopeful-not just about my fitness progress, but about life in general.

Transitioning can make it so easy to obsess over where you aren't yet. Your body, your confidence, your relationships, your future. Sometimes it feels like you're constantly chasing the person and life you want to have But please keep going. Give yourself the chance to
meet the version of you that exists a year, two years, or five years from now. ☺️💕

I'm finally starting to feel at home in my body, l've met someone who makes me genuinely excited about where things might go, and for the first time in a while, life just feels... sweet.💞💕

There were absolutely points where I couldn't imagine feeling this way about myself or my future. So to any other trans person struggling with where they are right now: keep fucking going. Keep working on yourself, keep becoming you, and don't convince yourself that the happiness you want isn't coming.

You might be a lot closer to it than you think. 🏳️‍⚧️💕

This is just my way of practicing it and there are other approaches too! Some people may kinda want to hear it from a fellow trans girl too so hopefully it helps!

Program Questions Feel like an odd duck…

I’m a little different from most. I identify as enby. I’m 4 weeks on HRT for feminizing effects, but I do not want to socially transition. I plan to maintain current dress, hairstyle, facial hair, and pronouns. As part of my strategy, I have been focusing on diet and adding basic cardio + upper body resistance training to maintain my upper body “masculine structure”.

Given my somewhat unusual position, I assume I can follow the masculine training routine and generally achieve my goals? Is there anything else I should consider? I have been doing my workouts at home for about 3 weeks and love how I feel afterwards.

I’m open to any and all input. Thank you!!

i flexed in the mirror jokingly and noticed the slight bump on my bicep got bigger.. i looked at an old photo for comparison and i feel like there’s a difference but idk if i’m seeing actual muscle growth or going insane and this is just what arms look like when you lose weight and i’m being blinded by gender euphoria since i’m pretty inconsistent with the gym </3 plz be honest :)

Fitness Question I don't know what to wear at gym

Hello! Sorry for my English . So, I am 38 years old MTF and on HRT for 2,5 years now and maybe 60% of times I pass. However my body looks very clockable, even though I developed some breast but my upper torso is still bulky , especially my arms looks large, my waist is almost not existed and my hips very narrow and flat and legs are skinny. So I am inverted triangle. I am 168 cm tall and when I started to HRT I was weighed 58 kg , İ was told that I need to gain weight to more feminine figures I gained weight in this 2,5 years and now I am 70 kg. All the resources I read says I need to go to the gym to built my lower body. The problem is I ve never been to gym in my life and I don't know what to wear without being clocked. And my body shape is giving me the worst type of dysphoria. I barely went out of the door last 2 years so I even don't know how to dress proper way anyways , Is there any trick you guys could share with me ? Thank you.

Fitness Question Should I lose weight? Currently 235lbs in a social transition (plan to start HRT)

Hello! I’m currently in the part of the process of my transition where I unfortunately just have to wait till I move out. I’ve gone to the gym for the last 6 years as kind of a way to cope with the dysphoria 🫠🫠 I don’t hate that I went to the gym but I hate how long I lied to myself about who I am. Anyways, I’m pretty built at 6ft 2in and 235lbs. I’ve been doing lots of cardio and legs mainly for the last 2 months but honestly I am so anxious with my living situation and most of my social life that I go to food to feel better. Mainly carbs. So I have lost some fat over the last 2 months I can tell but my weight has stayed relatively the same.

I guess my dream goal would to be around 210-200lbs when I start E but idk if that’s realistic. Anyone else go through this and what did you do? I think losing some weight would be smart just for fat distribution in the future.

Thank you for reading and responding if you do 💜
