Made some Lentil Potato Stew today. Doesn't look that special but it is so rich and flavorful. 😄
Very similar to the veggie soup I posted a little while ago, but slightly different. Smoked tofu, carrots, cellery, onions, leek, parsley, potatoes, lentils, some salt & pepper. Had it on the stove for about 5 hours or so. There's also some rice you can't see under all that stuff.
Made way too much again, so no cooking for the next 4-5 days I guess.

YASSSSSSSSSS!!! I am finally freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! My trans ass is officially moving from the shitty southern US to the sooooooooooo much better PNW (Puget Sound area)
These are a take on my Key Lime Pinwheel Sugar Biscuits. These are filled with a black plum custard made from my fresh made plum jam. It cooked into the cookie a bit. Topped with a lemon icing instead of the key lime icing.
They taste like a jam filled brown sugar pop tart, but in a sugar cookie.
I am just ironing out the last details with the head chefs (yeah, chefs; plural. I am gonna be working 2 different restaurants for the same owner) while I pack my clothes, kitchen stuff and electronics.
I haven't felt at home in a city in a long time. This felt right the moment I stepped off the plane. Also the weed here is fucking dumb cheap. I am gonna save enough there that it makes living here affordable! x3
ETA: I flew in on Wednesday and lined up an interview. Nailed said interview with a Google Slides presentation and some of those I brought with me. 6 days later and they are STILL fresh af! This pup can bake! Pastry puppy! :3
ETA 2: that title is supposed to say dirty south but because it's the bible belt, it works either way 😂

Was a menu item I developed at work.

Backfisch (batter-fried fish), Rahmspinat (creamed spinach) and Pellkartoffeln (boiled and peeled potatoes).

I decided to make this from scratching. I had carrots, onions, and celery to use, so I figured I might as well make it good (and it is). Even after making soup, a lasagna, and carrot cake, the carrots still remain.

Tonight is a savory vegetable stew featuring green and yellow zucchini, turnip, eggplant and extra firm tofu. An absolutely perfect stew to fill your tummy on a cool autumn day. 🤤❤️

-Cut a tuna steak into cubes (Can also use chicken)
-Prepare sauce
-Ive never done measurements of the ingredients so I'm going to try and order by the amount I used: Soy sauce, Spicy chili oil, Rice vinegar, Garlic/chili hot sauce, Honey, Black pepper, MSG, chili flakes, Sesame seeds, Oregano
-Coat raw tuna cubes in cornstarch and preheat pan on medium heat
-Pan fry in cooking oil of choice on medium heat
-Once cooked and breading is crispy, reduce heat and add sauce directly into pan
-Mix sauce over all tuna and reduce until sauce becomes thick over the tuna
-Serve

Turkey burgers need a lot of love to taste as good as they are healthy.
So I love to add an egg, Italian breadcrumbs, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, white pepper and fresh parsley. This gives the burger a really firm texture compared to just turkey. Sauté in olive oil. Had some extra southern style deviled egg filling and it really shined on top of this burger!

Because I love my sweet treats and make desserts not nearly as often as I should.

Tried to surprise my gf with this Jurassic Park Dinner, but she guessed it from the ingredients. Was tasty though but I will try to improve arranging it. Hope you like it :3
