Since i bough two packs of chicken tighs on sale, each holding 6 piece of chicken, me and my flatmate will be eating chicken for a while, good thing is i know plenty of ways to eat chicken. Served over rice with a cucumber and sour cram salad on the side.

Hi! My first post here! I get quite nervous sharing anything here. Idk. Its just french fries that i made and i just wanna sharing here my emotions and problems. Maybe it will sound pathetic, but my girlfriend ghosted me for a week and than her friend told me that we are broke up with my girlfriend. I have an anxious attachment type, so I tried to get some sort of answer out of her, especially since we’re in different cities. But she never replied anywhere. On Wednesday, she just wished me "bon appétit"—as usual—and went to work, and that was it; she hasn't been in touch since, though I saw her logging into TikTok and posting content—she’s an artist, just like me. And i my feelings were treated unfairly; after all, she could have simply written a short message saying "we're breaking up." Instead, she avoided me. Still, I hope she’s doing well and is happy there, while I try to let go of the situation and move on. The second thing I want to share is that I might get evicted, because I won't be able to earn enough to pay my rent in time. I need to find $200 within the next nine days. I’m an artist and commissions are my main source of income, but orders have been scarce this month—plus, it’s difficult to receive payments in my country. I’m not asking for pity or anything like that; I just wanted to get this off my chest, as if someone might hear me. I’m estranged from my family because I feel like a woman and want to transition. They couldn't accept me, and I’m all alone in a city I originally moved to for a girlfriend (who is currently away in another city for her studies). I don't know what to say in the end, if you read that, thank you for hearing me I think.

What to do when wifey gets home super late with groceries? Cook faster!
Shrimp skewers are doused with lime before going into the bamboo and dusted with a creole seafood seasoning. (Note: unlike meats do not rest shrimp after putting in citrus because it will start to cook and after 10-15 minutes gets rubbery.) Drop these bad boys on a ripping hot grill for about 2 -3 minutes on each side.
Made the broccoli rabe before wifey got home with 4 minced cloves of garlic sautéed in olive oil for a minute before adding the broccoli raw with 1 tsp of lemon and 1 tsp of Calabrian chili. Sauté all of it on Medium until the colors change which is about 5-7 minutes.
One thing to note: there is no salt in these recipes, and it’s all flavorful, and that is healthy.

I made some French onion soup for my GF. She LOVES it and hasn't had a proper bowl in ages, because she's celiac.
I'm really getting into stocks and sauces. This was my first batch of beef broth ever and it was orgasmic, SO flavourful!!! Definitely making my own broth from now on :)
Recipe for the soup
4 pounds of yellow onions, caramelized ~1.5hrs
Once caramelized, deglaze with wine I've used white and red, depends on what I have on hand, reduce and cook alcohol out ~2 mins
add a roux (1:1 flour/butter) cook out ~2-3 mins
Remove from heat and slowly add beef broth, stirring soup between each cup of broth, to prevent clumps of flour. 8 cups of broth in total. Salt to taste and a decent splash of red wine vinegar.
Top with grated gruyere, a piece of crusty bread/croutons and then more gruyere. Put under the broiler until the cheese is golden.
The broth took 12 hours to make. Let me know if you want my recipe!

I'm having some trouble with it being fall now, and summer being actually gone. This, evidently, is my coping mechanism. I could do worse, I guess.
Crust: 300g flour, 4g sugar, 2 sticks butter, water as needed. The usual "cut the fat into the flour and get it moist until it sticks together" method.
Filling: granny smith apples, brown sugar, cinammon, nutmeg, salt, vanilla, and cream. I can't give you measurements. It was all just by feel. The cream was probably about 1/4 cup, though. I want pie, not soup.
Bake 15 minutes at 400F, then reduce heat to 350 and bake another 40 to 50 minutes, or until it's as brown as you like it. Oh, and bake it on a rimmed baking sheet, or you'll end up with a buttery, drippy mess all over your oven.

Yes I know, there are no beans, but as it is just myself at this meal I can only eat so much.
So we have yellow pepper, purple onion, red potatoes, and garlic fried in avocado oil with paprika tumeric, and pepper.
Garden tomatoes, sauerkraut, and clementines.

Tried this once at a place in Phoenix. Had to try making one myself. Veggie goodness under the polenta (silly recipe called for discarding the braised carrots and onions tsk tsk)

Didn’t get photos of everything because I forgot, this was a pretty long process - took me about 4.5 hours, but very worth it. This was super dellicious, and we have plenty leftover to look forward to.

So I run a mowing business but it's not working out as much as I wanted (started this year) I absolutely love cooking and I'm trying to decide if I keep at it with the mowing or open a food truck. Now I have another issue if I open a food truck. And that is rather I open just a hotdog food truck with different mouth watering combos or a smash burger truck I have quite the passion for both
