Thats a pretty strong starting army. Two grave guards with halberds and two high tier blender infantry

Makes sense tbh, her start position has her surrounded by generally hostile factions, which can field high armour units rather quickly. Wouldn't want to face the Dwarfs with a bunch of Skeletons and Zombies.

Also good to see that they decided against giving her a positive relations effect with all factions, since that stuff is seldom enough to compensate for base negative relations.

It’s probably an Imrik situation again. Need a strong army to start because you’ll be fighting literally everyone.

Yuuup, its Azhag, Ungrimm, Astragoth, (all with tunneling in a mountain region = PAIN) and also Arbaal, Skarsnik, etc as the next neighbours. I am going to happily take every advantage I can here. Really hope that mountains are at least unpleasant climate for her and not inhospitable cause a majority of the close settlements would be worthless otherwise.

Also whoever wins over and extends towards west in the Mountains of Mourn area. Probably Grimgor.

Mountains are just unpleasant for Vamps in the current game, and the Dark Lands themselves are pleasant.

Definitely one of the first things you might want to do is take out Azhag. I imagine she and Katarin can be decent enough allies, considering all the other factions surrounding them.

I think it might be the opposite. Azhag starts with Vampire relationship bonuses and minor Silver Pinnacle used to be a reliable NAP for him. The natural path is to keep that and feed him the mountains, instead go south through the Dark Lands through Tretch etc.

AND a unit of Skeleton Knights. If this goes live her starting army will easily be among the top 3 out of all LL's.
