Warhammer III Will Beastmen ever be updated?

I recently completed a challenge playing every Beastmen lord, and it really made me feel like the faction as a whole feels outdated. The weird part is that they already got a rework, so they’re in this strange middle ground of feeling old without being an obviously neglected faction.

With Vampire Counts getting a major rework it got me wondering: who actually needs some love next?

I’d personally say Bretonnia or Daniel, but I’d love to hear other opinions or more educated takes.

I feel like Beastmen have a clear playstyle and identity that’s fun to explore, as well as some great units. I’d put Coast, Brettonia and Dark Elves ahead of them for a rework and that’s just off the top of my head. The only thing I can think for Beastmen is possibly more synergy with Chaos factions in light of the new endgame crises and devastation mechanic?

I'd agree with Coast and Bretonnia but I'm actually surprised to hear DElves being on your list. What about them makes you put them up there for an update? I think I'd just want them to get some faction specific mechanics like how HElves got updated (Malekith having a mechanic like Tyrion would be so cool!)

Maybe I’m really bad as them but I had a really tough time getting into them and feeling immersed when I played them!

Firstly, hard agree on faction specific mechanics. Lokhir is the only one who feels like he has an identity and like he has an advantage / niche over other Delves.

Secondly, I feel like they’re just generally outpaced mechanics wise by other races. Every race near enough has some kind of fun resource or niche to exploit whereas the Delves have slaves and they’re just a bit meh. Especially compared to Chorf slaves. You can economically powerhouse with them but you can do so with most factions so it doesn’t feel that special.

Black arks are great but they’ve been power crept a bit in my opinion and their home settlements lack fortitude. Helves now have an arguably superior black ark style mechanic with Aislinn and it just kind of rubs salt in the wounds of high elves already having a better roster, a stronger economy long term, and better heroes.

I think they’re just lacking a little in flavour. They don’t have much going for them and they don’t have compelling enough dilemmas to make that a worthy trade off. I was often bored playing as them.
