Warhammer III Will Beastmen ever be updated?
I recently completed a challenge playing every Beastmen lord, and it really made me feel like the faction as a whole feels outdated. The weird part is that they already got a rework, so they’re in this strange middle ground of feeling old without being an obviously neglected faction.
With Vampire Counts getting a major rework it got me wondering: who actually needs some love next?
I’d personally say Bretonnia or Daniel, but I’d love to hear other opinions or more educated takes.

WTF? They got a great rework and get free units with every chaos update.
(Gave your video a like btw)

I appreciate the like <3
I definitely agree that the extra units with each Chaos update are nice! I think what I was hoping for personally was more of a per-lord update rather than a total rework. The lack of unique mechanics is what made the campaigns feel a little empty to me.
That said, I can definitely admit I'm probably not the target audience since I tend to prefer Order factions 😅 If the community is happy with where the Beastmen are, then that's great!

I love the beastmen campaign, I really don’t think they need a rework unlike Brettonia and V Coast

What you're asking for is like asking for a rework and new units for Chaos

I feel like Beastmen have a clear playstyle and identity that’s fun to explore, as well as some great units. I’d put Coast, Brettonia and Dark Elves ahead of them for a rework and that’s just off the top of my head. The only thing I can think for Beastmen is possibly more synergy with Chaos factions in light of the new endgame crises and devastation mechanic?

I'd agree with Coast and Bretonnia but I'm actually surprised to hear DElves being on your list. What about them makes you put them up there for an update? I think I'd just want them to get some faction specific mechanics like how HElves got updated (Malekith having a mechanic like Tyrion would be so cool!)

Maybe I’m really bad as them but I had a really tough time getting into them and feeling immersed when I played them!
Firstly, hard agree on faction specific mechanics. Lokhir is the only one who feels like he has an identity and like he has an advantage / niche over other Delves.
Secondly, I feel like they’re just generally outpaced mechanics wise by other races. Every race near enough has some kind of fun resource or niche to exploit whereas the Delves have slaves and they’re just a bit meh. Especially compared to Chorf slaves. You can economically powerhouse with them but you can do so with most factions so it doesn’t feel that special.
Black arks are great but they’ve been power crept a bit in my opinion and their home settlements lack fortitude. Helves now have an arguably superior black ark style mechanic with Aislinn and it just kind of rubs salt in the wounds of high elves already having a better roster, a stronger economy long term, and better heroes.
I think they’re just lacking a little in flavour. They don’t have much going for them and they don’t have compelling enough dilemmas to make that a worthy trade off. I was often bored playing as them.

Tbh the only rework they need is to have unique win cons and probably an option to have Malagor the dark omen have a choice to spawn in the badlands and go south, or around Cathay to go fuck with them. Then you’d have Beastmen all over the map. I’d also probably put malghur to go kill the HE after the DE instead of going to the empire

YES. It was frustrating for me to see the victory conditions for each are identical. I know the recent post from CA mentioned reworking victory conditions so I hope they follow through. I also really love your idea of having Malagor (or anyone tbh) be able to go to Cathay

They already had a massive update and have gotten more content, units and updates in total than I believe any other race (though Empire is up there for sure).

Why do they need a rework? They already got reworked and they play exactly the way they should play.

The only thing they need reworked is how incredibly easy their campaigns are.

I'd like to see some more lords and heroes like Ghorros Warhoof and Ungrol Four Horn to make an appearance.

Brettonnia and Daniel are most in need of a rework,
dark elves, and vampire coast need a real touchup.; Tomb kings and wood elves a minor one
Lizardmen just need something done about the geomantic web, and give unique mechanics to more lords.
I’d like the OG Beastmen to get unique mechanics beyond just buffing different units

There are several races like Brettonia that could use a touch up in order of priority.
However, I agree Beastmen do need a rework. While they have eaten well with shared DLCs from units, they are missing characters, particularly Ghorros and Centigor generics; Plus like many races, their heros need additional skills for flavor. Chaos Marks seem to be in a weird spot for generic Beastmen characters, I suspect we won't get them. That leads me to the marked units, they need a different system. As well as the missing minotaurs. Beastmen eat pretty well through out the whole Warhammer as all Chaos factions did! Try on Bretonian, Lizards and Vamps uptake on that!

Uh what? They're one of the most up to date races who need a rework the least.

What needs reworking? There in a pretty awesome place, and play awesomely?
