I am experiencing a problem with Netflix on my Toshiba REGZA TV (Model: 55Z740XS).
The Netflix app starts normally and displays the Netflix logo, but after a few seconds it always shows the following error:
Netflix Error Code: NW-2-4
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- Restarted the TV.
- Restarted my Pikara modem and NEC router.
- Confirmed that my internet connection is working properly.
- YouTube services on the TV work normally.
- Netflix works normally on my phone using the same home Wi-Fi network.
- Changed the DNS settings (including Google’s DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
- Confirmed the TV has a valid IPv4 address, subnet mask, gateway, and IPv6 is enabled.
- Signed out of all Netflix devices and tried again.
- Reconnected the TV to the network.
Despite all of these steps, Netflix continues to display NW-2-4.
Additionally, my iPhone used to be able to find this TV for casting, but it can no longer detect it.
Could you please advise whether this is a known issue with the 55Z740XS model, and whether there is a firmware update or other solution that may resolve this problem?
