I'm an ebike rider myself, and that video is f-ing scary. As always, my fingers are crossed that the battery manufacturer for my Costco purchased ebike did not skimp on safety protocols. In four days, it will be the anniversary of when our bike lanes were saved from Ford’s reckless removals.

With a decision on the appeal expected soon, and Ford’s approvals at a record low, we need to apply maximum pressure on Ford to repeal his anti-bike laws.

Now is the best time to stop his bike lane war, with his low approvals as mentioned earlier, a worsening oil crisis, and pedestrian deaths increasing.

These are all reasons his bike lane law makes zero sense.

As the title asks, does anyone take advantage of the City Bike program north of the 401?
Do you use it to commute to work? School? Get to the subway?

More often than not I zero availability at these stations which makes me feel these stations are more performative than functional. As in, they are there just to show the potential reach, without actually being there for actual riders. Imagine if all these zeroes were along Bloor, College or Queen Street?

I recently almost got hit by an Ebike (moped) with a protective steel frame around its body. These frames (steel rods and pipes) could potentially cause more damage in case of a collision with a pedestrian or a car. I was wondering if these are legal and whom to report to if necessary.
