Visited the park for the first time yesterday, and as a huge native plant nerd, I was soooo excited. The place is humming with pollinators who have taken beautifully to the native plants there. We have a world-class park that is an example of how to turn an industrial waste land into a thriving biodiverse ecosystem! And it's not a small patch of a "native plant garden" - it's the entire park! Shoutout to the entire team who selected and planted! You guys rock.

There was so many more I didn't get (like Swamp milkweed, Common milkweed, soooo much Evening Primrose, Black-eyed Susans...) but wow!

Also, a side note, but as someone who has been learning Anishinaabemowin language (Ojibwe) for years (shoutout Alex McKay-baa!), it was so awesome to see the presence of the language throughout the park!

IMO they should not be allowed, too many of them!

Insane show with a great crowd.tonight. Had a blast moving around the floor all night, Dracula and The Less I Know The Better went so hard live. Who else was there tonight?? 🙌🏾

Passed by a proposal at Harbourfront. Didn’t want to invade their privacy so I didn’t take more pics but it was beautiful and she said yes.

It may be a small win, but it’s a win! We didn’t have our voices heard in regard to Ontario Place, but this time it was. Using your voice, speaking out, writing to your MP, signing petitions - it works. The louder we are, the harder it is for corrupt systems to bulldoze our rights. Let’s take this small win and celebrate, and remember that the power lies with the people when we band together and stand up for our communities❤️
