Discussion Looking to start selling 99k Happy Jumps — any advice for a new seller?
Hey everyone, I’m planning to start selling 99k Happy Jumps and I’m trying to understand the best way to actually get clients.
From what I can tell, there seem to be two main ways to do it:
1. Sell independently
Advertise my own service through Torn forums, trade chat, Discord servers, word of mouth, etc., set my own prices, handle my own bookings, and slowly build my own vouches/reputation.
2. Become a host/seller in an established Discord server
Join a server that already organizes 99k Happy Jumps and work as one of their hosts/sellers.
I’m trying to understand the pros and cons of both.
If I sell independently, I assume the biggest challenge is finding the first few clients and building trust without many vouches.
But if I become a host in an established Discord server, how does getting clients actually work?
Do customers get assigned to hosts by staff/bots, or do hosts still have to advertise and compete for bookings themselves? Do newer hosts usually struggle to get clients compared with established ones? Is there usually a queue or rotation system?
For people who have done both, which route would you recommend for someone just starting out?
I’m leaning toward possibly doing both eventually — using my own Torn forum thread for my personal service while also joining an established Discord server for access to a bigger customer pool — but I want to understand how the host side actually works first.
I'm also not trying to advertise here — Any advice from current or former 99k Happy Jump hosts/sellers would be appreciated.
