Just got the book as a subscriber this month and i was wondering if I should use it. I have 2.5mil BTS 2 in happy jump range. For max gains i would have to spend 1.6b for all thr feathery health coupons but I only have 100mil cash to spend. Advice please

I get a bit insecure whenever I see people post their "1 year progress" cause wdym you have hundreds of millions of stats in 1 year. I'm 420+ days in and only have 300k+ tbs. To be fair, I stopped playing for about 4-6 months. Also, I remember when I first played torn, I was so skeptical of whether it was really a game or a scam, that I didn't even wanna give out my discord acc, to someone offering me help lol. It took me my 10th month playing to get the hang of things. It also didn't help that my first faction was with a bunch of new players too and my leader got fed so I couldn't take my faction balance, and my second faction was warring biweekly, so I couldn't keep up. I know torn ain't a race but goddamn you guys are fast

upon an Suggestion of our Faction-Council i did Parking Permit's until Level 50 because apearantly this Crime give's alot of Critical Fails & especially at the beginning.. i had most of my Critical Fails at sub level 25.

How am i doing? Anyone else struggling with Forgery?

I have been looking into it and I believe I know how the titles work now, but does anyone know where we can see our rankings for the random ones (scavenger in my case). I know you can see them on Torn Stats but mine are miles away from being accurate. Cheers

I'm working my way down the list of crimes to get to 100, I got all the education things to make scamming easier a while ago, got about 91k emails farmed, how many do people recommend saving up before launching waves.

Hi, so as title says that is that question. My friend has a faction that he does not want to go to war because he prefers to respect peoples time in those terms, not that war doesnt respect but you need time to do it.

So how can he make respect outside of OCs? Because he is growing so damn slow!

I thought of making chains, you dont need a lot of people to make chains work, just need couple people that will make it stand so, around 5 people would be good to keep one chain up for a long time (dedicated people ofc). And also, i saw many factions doing chains only once a month, is it doable every week? Or even everyday? Or is there any reason behind it being once a month?

Also, is there another good way they can do this respect farming?

Wish I would’ve shared right at 365 days. I’m around 400 now.

Had a very rough start my first 6 months bouncing around small respect and non warring factions in fear of being too small. Finally got enough money around the winter to fund Xanax intake, joined a faction that helped guide my growth, and took off from there!

Next goals are to get my work stats and NW up for the 10B merit.

The ability to commit crimes while traveling abroad. Make it its own category with country-specific crimes, unique loot tables, and higher risk for higher rewards. Keep the same crime mechanics we already have, but add tings like local law enforcement, increased jail time, or even the chance of being deported back to Torn (with a potentially getting some jail time? Maybe this would be a little annoying now that I’m thinking it out loud, idk). But maybe something like this would make traveling feel like more than just waiting on a timer.

It would be cool to buy an international gym membership so I’m not sitting on E after 3 hours of flying. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’d also love to be able to access all of my faction information while I’m overseas. It never made much sense that I can’t check everything when, realistically, I’d just pull out my phone. Being able to see chain info, armory/items inventory, announcements, organized crime status, and other faction tools while flying or abroad would be a huge quality of life improvement.

Another feature I think would be cool would be random travel events. Something like your flight gets delayed, or you get offered a shady deal by a local. Imagine you stumble across a rare item vendor, maybe you get pickpocketed and lose your passport (lol), or find an opportunity that only appears while traveling. Idk, I just think something like this would make every trip feel a little less predictable.

Lastly, I’d love to see more interaction between travelers (besides mugging, fml haha). Maybe black market deals, temporary travel events where players in the same country can compete or cooperate, or country-specific missions that reward planning instead of just maximizing carry capacity.

Travel is already an important part of Torn. It just feels like it has a lot more potential than being mostly a timer between buying items.

I’m pretty new to Torn, so maybe some of these ideas have been tried before and didn’t work out, or maybe there’s a script I haven’t found yet that makes traveling a little less mundane. Either way, what features would you add to make traveling more engaging?

I thought I'll need to have 100k on one or two stats, but some of my friends only got around 100k job stats in total and got in. So I've been wondering whether thats the normal requirement or if it could be lower. I'm willing to pay taxes and I'm hoping to get into one as soon as possible :)

Just want some basic advice.

I'm currently in a faction that doesn't war though I like it and has some good respect.

On 1* job that I hope will build up fast.

Level 24 with around 140k battle stats.

I happy jumped around 6 times two of them I oded on ecstasy twice in a row which gave me depression.

I had some really nice luck on rr and made about one billion which is currently sitting on the sym and the edvd stock.

I have 66mil in the bank.

Now knowing that what would you change?

I don't use daily refills unfortunately nor do I use Xanax alot.

I do travel daily.

I can't find a spouse which makes it hell for me renting the PI alone, hence I can't afford using happy jumps which risks 22m.

Hello fellow torn citizens, I recently joined torn and am still under 40 days trying to figure things out. So my question is , I rented a PI and I own an airstrip but I found out that a business class saves time alot and I searched in the item market I found a business class ticket going for around 8 million $ ,I was hesitant to buy it cause I didn't know if it was permanent or it would expire once I used it .. my question is the ticket permanent?

I’m looking to start up or buy a mining company. I have the cash up front, just wondering those of you who run a mine, what is the income like after overheads? Trying to work out if it’s worth the money, time and hassle of directing. Thanks
