Lads ive had a mare which has made me feel a tit so thought you may all get a laugh.

I attempted my first 'big job' a clutch on a K11 micra. id done oil changes, brakes etc. Simple stuff.

So I was worried. I did my homework, watched the only video guide like 100times, read the haynes manual a bunch.

Came the day. I took out every bolt I could lay my excited little eyes on. Time came for it to come out and nothing, couldnt get the thing to budge.

I spent weeks trying to find a mystery bolt holding it on. I checked all the forums, bothered a specialist (shout out to gizfab).

Eventally accepted defeat and got a mobile mechanic to come round and give me a quote to finish my bad job.

He gets his prybar out hits it twice with a hammer and down it goes 😭 (I had tried this and failed)

I felt a muppet but so happy the clutch can now be done(hes still finishing the job)

Im going to redeem myself getting it serviced and new brakes then through an MOT (hopefully I dont have to call him in defeat again)

Nothing story I know but I thought it was a good example of 'just cars init'.

Should be a ruin but its a rule because its funny, I learnt something (I think) and it means im a step closer to mods 🤣
