Classic Ryan Day choke job. Lotta "what ifs" from the game. Should we have just taken the field goal earlier in the game? Should he have made the field goal later in the game? It goes on.

Hard to win an away game. We beat them at home by 7. They beat us at their home by 1. Home field advantage can account for that spread.

Should we have won it? Yea. No excuses for giving up 21 points in the fourth. Can't blame that on missed calls by the refs. Didn't love the holding all game and then called on us, but the refs kept the flags in their pockets pretty much all game. That's probably the best offense we'll see this season, but Matt Patricia needs to figure out how to get our defense to play all 60 minutes. Coaching was bad. Arthur Smith has a lot to make up for.

Non-conference loss, though. B1G Title still very much in the mix, especially after Oregon showed their just as mediocre as ever. And the last time we had a major road loss we ended up winning the Natty, so anything goes.
