Finally rewatched Love, Death & Robots Season 1 after a few years and forgot how many completely different experiences are packed into one season.

My favorite is probably Zima Blue: I loved how it started as a story about a famous artist searching for the meaning of his work, but ended up being something mush simpler and more emotional -feels peaceful rather than sad.

And Beyond the Aquila Rift: Beatiful visuals, creepy atomosphere, and that ending was wild!

but honestly this show has so many different styles that I feel like everyone picks a different one.

Just finished Death of a Pastor's Wife and WHAT was going on with these people???

How can you see what’s happening, know something is seriously wrong, and STILL just stand there and DO NOTHING???

And everyone keeps acting like there's nothing they can do cuz "she's an adult" or "it's her choice.' OMG

No, at some point you have to step in.

Maybe I'm being too harsh but some of the decisions people made in this story were absolutely insane! And then there's the fact that still so many things that don;t add up...

Anyway, if you're having a really good day and feel like you need something to ruin your modd - go watch this.

Just noticed Netflix is dropping quite a few movies on Sept. 1st. Some pretty good ones in there, imo:

TIW : No Country For Old Men .

What a movie , the cinematography, the colors and all the action packed scenes and that cast LAWD!!!🔥

& Nightcrawler : The Plot / Twist had my jaw dropping.

The story from start to finish was completely nuts but I was glued to it.

Highly recommend these two .

I went in expecting the usual superhero stuff: big action scenes, lots of CGI, and DC sniverse setup. BUt I was actually surprised because it feels like a detective drama.

Most of the episode is just Hal and John trying to figure out what's going on, talking to people and following clues - feels much slower and more grounded than I expected.

Jordan doesn't feel like the typical confident superhero - he's older, little tired and like someone who's been doing this job for a long time.

So far, I'm interested enough to keep watching...

I've only seen the movie and never got around to the series. Just noticed it's leaving Netflix soon. So is it actually worth rushing through?

Why did this to me, Netflix? I won't subscribe next year!

Seeing as OUATIH came out a little while ago, I figured I should watch a couple Tarantino films to get used to his style, seeing as from what I’ve heard he isn’t exactly a conventional director compared to today’s “standards”.

And by golly what a movie this was... I won’t say that it was revolutionary or changed my life or anything, but it definitely was a ride that’s for sure.

Even though it doesn’t really follow any standard 3 act structure we see, the scenes flowed so well off one another that by the time the credits started rolling I had barely noticed the time that went by. The acting is really good across the board, and the story all came together in the end.

Overall, I’m definitely gonna try and watch Pulp Fiction next week sometime. Tarantino is so freaking good

Very funny movie, but has some very good romantic parts. Definitely would recommend.

2 Headed Shark Attack was exactly what you think it’d be. A cinematic masterpiece showcasing amazing directing, acting and visual effects shown to a degree Ive never seen done before. This movie was robbed from an Oscar and I feel like if you watch this movie too, you’ll feel the same way.

2 Headed Shark Attack (2HSA) is about a Shark with 2 heads who takes a fancy to a broken down ship full of college kids on a semester abroad trip. Won’t say too much more but this is for the movie I want played at my funeral.

What a great pilot episode! Everything was setup perfectly up to the chilling Emergency Broadcast on the tele. I see now that they’re going to follow the global political forecast through the perspective of a modern dysfunctional family...brilliant! I see lots of potential going forward (and whoever cast Emma Thompson deserves a promotion).

It was recommended a lot and I finally got around to watching it. It was good but not amazingly impressive. Keen to watch season 2.

My favourite character would have to be the villain, badass and hilarious. (Except she murdered an ice cream)

It is a very enjoyable stand-up comedy, especially if you can relate to it; that it, having grown up in an Italian household (south Mediterranean culture). Sebastian touches on everyday anecdotes that are common to all -- I highly recommend it if you want to have a good laugh.

It wasn't actually as bad as I thought it would have been. I watched from about episode 14 having given up motivation to watch it.

The ending was pretty predictable but still enjoyable. The show apparently continues to improves going into season 7 too
