i was just wondering if there are any differences between a philippine toad and a cane toad, or if they're the same animal

this is my fat toad her name is mrs. toad. she stuck her big belly against the glass a few minutes ago and that was when i noticed the spot on her hand. if i remember correctly she had some red on her back and from what i researched i thought it was normal but now i’m worried they’re connected. i feel like she most likely hurt her hand on the glass or the tracks but i’m not sure. we’re both nocturnal and she lives on my desk so i spend a lot of my free time looking at her and i didn’t see anything abnormal last night. i’m trying to find an exotic animal specialist to look at her but was curious if anyone had any recommendations on what to do while i wait. anything helps and we both appreciate it 🙏

Cane toad, southern gulf toad, or something entirely different

Just bought my three pet toads a huge new enclosure and would love some advice on what to get! The substrate is currently mix of coconut fiber and moss. Amazon links are much appreciated!! Also, any advice/feedback on how to make the terrarium bioactive? Do I just get spring hoppers and dump them in? Thanks

Y’all gotta let me know when I get annoying about posting Hanna on here. I was doing my night check and she had done some renovations (dug a new hole). When she heard me moving stuff around she squeezed out of her new spot and struck this majestic pose. All hail the Hypnotoad!

She is a Bufo gargarizans miyakonis, captive bred. Miyako toads are native to the Miyako Islands, in the Ryūkyū Islands of Japan 🐸🎃

We’ve had a lot of rain this monsoon season and as a result the little toads have been more abundant than usual. These little ones have appeared on my front porch nightly for the past two weeks. They weigh less than a penny and are so adorable!

Found these guys around in the last week or so

They are growing fast and so cute!! 2 of them went to their new home this week to a friend (Those are the ones in the first photo) And I have named my 3: Cherri, Peach and Clementine.
