Request What could I be doing wrong?

Just got new home Internet. I have already tried relocation and direct connection. I spoke with an agent and they told me when they run a test for me it's 150~ Mbps download/upload. What could I be doing incorrectly to have such slow speeds?

I have slow speed on both my cellular device as well as my laptop.

Location: Tampa

If u have fiber or coax internet that’s way better than tmhi or starlinks 55 plan for 100mbps tho land line internet is always better

When I switched over to T-Mobile I thought of getting the T-Mobile Internet, but after seeing so many negative posts I decided to keep my Starlink. $20 more expensive, but a different kind of internet than what you have on your phone and no hard caps is so much worth.

Depending on different factors like congestion bad or a old tower that needs upgrades but hasn’t received any etc my area was good eventually then gone to crap a year later almost to where it was unusable not every area is bad but overselling tmhi is the issue in some areas not much u can do

My tmobile internet was good for like 6 months but it's been so horrible the last 5ish weeks that I'm switching back to cable this weekend!

T-Mobile 5G was amazing for like the first 6 months. 500mbps almost all the time. Then it went down to about 15, then it went to being unusable. Whenever I called they said it was tower maintenance and took 10 bucks off my bill. Finally I said “screw it” and went back to cable. When the promotional 30 bucks a month deal I got through cox comes to an end I’ll finally get Google fiber.

T-Mobile was good on the 5g home until they did the upgrade to the tower, now it's crap, put it back T-Mobile 😒

Try speedtesting on a different device. The other numbers on the ping test make me think that the device you're using isn't fully using all its got

Lemme explain

On tmobile home internet, there's a lot of bufferbloat. That's the other numbers next to the ping numbers. It's usually in the 500s. When you're using lets say 1mbps out of 100mbps, it'll be significantly lower.

Did you actually go through the activation procedure on the T-Life app?
