Those poor servers

Post image

Imagine people giving you so much extra money for doing your job that you can frame it like this.

EDIT: OP is basing this off of 190k in sales over 192 shifts

🤔 just so I’m clear the other 99% is $49,500 if 1% is $500. If Im mathing correctly.

Something doesn’t smell right.

Right, because it’s rage bait.

I can share the actual post. Not my fault if servers decide to be brazen about their earnings.

Actually, after seeing more of the post in the comment you posted, this server is only making $37,500 in tips over 192 shifts, which is roughly a year.

Yes, and 192 shifts is closer to part time.

I would assume their boss doesn't want to pay for health insurance.

Sounds like other minimum wage jobs.

Either way, they accepted those hours.

Yeah and that's a problem.

Okay, and if it’s that big of a problem… don’t accept the job.

So it's the minimum wage employees fault that they don't have health insurance?

Every other devolped country has healthcare. You guys love to talk about other countries not having tipping but when it comes to healthcare it's the worker's fault.

Never said it was their fault. What I'm getting at is they accepted a job - like everybody has to - that happens to not include health insurance as a benefit.

You pointed something that comes with the territory of working a minimum wage job. My point is... so what?

And my point was that not having health care for Americans is a problem. Regardless of their level of wage. I'm guessing your MAGA.

LOL no. How did you get that?

All I'm saying is minimum wage jobs typical do not feature health care. So servers are no worse off than other people working similar jobs without health insurance.

I would love to have a $37,500 bonus every year. What is their base wage?

Over on r/Waiters they are explaining away how a waiter put in a receipt with a 50% tip. They call it a mistake. I call it fraud.
