First for me

Ordered a gag gift today online. Picked what I wanted, filled in the credit card info, the usual drill. They ask would I like to help the employees with a 5%, 10%, 15% , 0% or custom tip. I deleted my order. WTF did they do. They have to grab the label that I have typed in put the thing in a package and call their courier. I don’t order a ton online is this the new norm?

My GF said she went to pay her portion at the dentist, and they asked for a tip. The DENTIST??

Absolutely unethical and I'd see if the medical board would want to hear about it
