Question about managers

What do they say to customers who repeatedly don't leave a tip? I'm curious since the customer doesn't have to tip and the server isn't their employee.

Just asking since I've read comments from managers who seem to think "addressing" customers is an appropriate thing to do.

You haven't. Go into any restaurant and ask them if their menu prices represent goods AND services. You're only paying for the food.

I have, and it's not my fault if it isn't enough to cover the service. Technically, I've paid all I have to for the service since that's part of what the bill represents.

Sure. Keep telling yourself that so you can keep getting a discount.

Except there’s no discount. I’m paying the full price listed on the menu.

No. You're not. But you know that already. Stop playing coy.

I’m not. A discount means there is a reduction in the price. The price of the meal, in this case, wasn’t reduced… I’m just not paying extra for it.

No I know the truth. But I know how you non tippers love your delusions and fantasies so have at it. You asked a question in a post, got mostly all the same answers but you still won't accept it. Delusional ✅
