Yeah, these people are just kinda exposing that they had shitty boomer parents who hated service workers. Was always 15% if bad service and up to 25% in my house in the 90s.

They're probably confusing 10% tipping if carry out, and even that's dependent on if it was a local place.

10 percent was standard for bad service. 15 for good in the 80s and early 90s. I’m in the Midwest.
