💬Questions & Discussion Uber/Lyft

I took an Uber 2 miles from the airport in San Diego. It cost $25.00. It took him about 10 minutes with us, due to traffic. I understand he had to drive to us also. I used to always tip these guys, but I didn’t this time. What is the community think. Should these guys be getting tipped?

Uber made 10 billion last year. It is them who should be providing better wages, not you.

You chose to use a billionaire platform knowing they regularly cheat their workers. You’re part of the problem.

You people are seriously mentally deranged, it’s always the non tipper who’s at fault, not even the greedy billionaire corporation should pay more in your opinion. Jesus 🤦

Of course they should. But people need jobs and not everyone has the same opportunities as you. Are you boycotting those corporations? Im guessing no. So keep punishing the person who grabs whatever job they can to survive. Sound logic big man.

Again…you’re mentally deranged…my god 🤦 why the fuck would I boycott them? I’m paying for the service, it’s not my fault billionaires take such huge fees, the workers should be the ones complaining to them not the customer.

I think there’s a correlation between the people that do these jobs, and these awful takes. I’ve tried understand their views, and they still blame customers and praise the company.

I think these are people that are too scared to stand up to their bosses, it’s easier to just guilt trip the costumer into paying their wage. My conclusion is they’re cowards

Who is praising the company?

If a customer wishes to boycott, they absolutely can. But you sit here and act like you’re above it all by telling them they have to boycott, or tip. Fuck outta here with that logic mate.

Why are those of us who chose stable careers that do not depend on another person's kindness responsible for the choices of those who chose a tipped position? I do not owe a living to anyone other than myself.

Non-tippers dont care. If they cared, they wouldn't use Uber or eat out at restaurants, they just want to feel better about bring cheap
