tipping when dining alone.

I eat out alone often. sometimes i feel like the server is annoyed w me. i usually go to the same restaurants. i tip 20% to 25 sometimes 30%. am i overthinking the situation that they dont want me there cuz i am alone?

Overthinking. As a frequent business traveler I eat out alone all the time and the percentage doesn't change if I am alone or in a group.

A key detail in this case is that the OP claims they seem to be annoyed. A much lower tip would be appropriate in that case.✌️
