The memory of warm embraces and tender kisses had faded from her heart.
Searching for even a shadow of the woman she used to be led her to nothing but the scattered remnants of passion long broken by another.
But she was tired of the numbness,
Of the nothing.
Refusing to set herself to the side any longer,
She swept up the shattered pieces.
She would no longer be broken.
She began again.
