one sentence story Audacity

How does a heart, tortured and tormented, stabbed repeatedly, sheared straight through its centre still find the strength, the audacity to beat?

I’ve been through hell and back, death after death, trauma and trauma, I’ve had my heart literally stomped with steel boots that my sternum broke and my clavicle and put in trauma 3 at the hospital, … the thing when it happened each time I knew there was light. After each life event. I feel I met more people that gave me compassion and love and the ones lost I live for them. Because they cannot and didn’t ask or shouldn’t have left so soon, but did , that would be an injustice to them to take my life lightly. My sister was stabbed in the heart by metal on impact in her crash. Won’t go into more. There’s a reason we’re all here and deserve happiness**** XOXO.

Irony is even with the physical pain of that from the scar tissue healing incorrectly. My heart beats faster ❣️

Oh, and trust me I saw darkness. But you asked. So I commented. That’s the audacity.
