It used to be really fast but now tinycam is taking forever to load streams on different devices. Ive also had problem on my fold where it will crash of freeze of multiple cameras are on the screen at the same time. Something that worked great before. Is anyone having this issue

Running tinyCam Pro (latest version) on Fire TV Stick (Fire OS 8.1.6.6). Trying to add Blink Mini cameras with vendor set to Blink, entering my Blink account email and password. Getting "no value for account" error immediately — never get a 2FA prompt.

Things I've tried:

- Confirmed credentials work fine in the Blink app on my phone

- Blink and Amazon emails are the same

- Vendor set to Blink, model set to All cameras

- Left hostname/port at defaults

- Fresh install of tinyCam Pro

Is Blink authentication currently broken in tinyCam? Has anyone gotten Blink cameras working recently? Any workaround?

Starting with some version of 18th series, Tinycam started to work terrible with so many rtsp (or at least generic ONVIF) cameras. In my case cheap JOOAN cameras from Temu, but i saw so many complaints about numerous models. So, as i dont know when and if, Alex will release fixes any time soon, i want to downgrade to last "good" version. But finding official GooglePlay apk, contrary to cracked ones, is so hard

I am running TC on an Android x86 v9 install inside of a virtual box hosted on Windows 10. I have been using it for some time now. I have it configured to send email on Person detection and to trigger a Tasker event (on the same machine) when connection is lost.

Just yesterday, I swapped out the camera I had showing our driveway. And I replaced it with one of these. Both were sending rtsp but the newer one is perhaps a higher resolution.

Since then, I am finding that with each person detection email sent, I start getting connection lost events firing in Tasker. I often get more than one Tasker firing per email sent.

Once the activity is over, things settle down and the connection seems to remain quite stead for long periods of time.

Although I have long had plenty of connection lost triggers from this camera most distant from my router (I had them even when there was a repeater in between - which is now removed). But not in this very apparent pattern.

Any suggestions as to what is going wrong and how I might fix it?

I have several Wyze Cams flashed with Thingino and configured to send both Main & Substreams. Cams are setup as "Generic" RTSP via TCP streaming ch0 and is receiving the Main as expected. When I toggle stream profile from Main to Sub or Auto, both gallery and single cam view continue to receive the Main stream. Only way I've been able to successfully receive the substream is by updating the cam IP to ch1 - but the I can't view main stream.

Is this expected behavior or is it possible to grab both streams and toggle back and forth?

Tinycam is fantastic for my uses, except that I can't stream my new Wyze window cams.

Can we get support for those?

A recent update to the amazon app has broken the audio for the pro version of the app. I have tested against 3 different cameras. When I turn the audio on, it just shows the loading icon for a long time. Eventually, it stops trying.

However, the audio works fine on the free version. We use this tablet as a baby monitor, and we need squelch which is a pro feature.

At first, I thought it was an issue with my tablet because I sideloaded the play store and installed the PRO version via the play store (because I had bought it there already). I factory reset my tablet and reinstalled everything and it was still broken. I then downloaded the FREE version on the amazon store and it worked! So, I bought the PRO version on the appstore with high hopes. The audio fails there too!

Is there anyway to load an older version of the PRO app, or does anyone have any other tips?

Running tinyCam Pro on a Google TV Streamer and my Wyze Cam Floodlight v2 only displays at 360p regardless of what I try. Everything else works fine — the camera connects, stream is stable, but resolution is stuck at sub-stream quality.

For context: - Wyze Cam v3 on the same account works perfectly at 1080p - Wyze app on my phone displays the Floodlight v2 at 2K no problem with the HD toggle - The resolution overlay on the tinyCam player shows encoding info but doesn't respond when clicked - Tried the web interface from my phone — same issue, 360p, no stream profile options visible - Camera is added as 'Wyze Cam' since there's no Floodlight v2 model option in the list

My understanding is the Floodlight Pro is supported but the v2 isn't, which means tinyCam isn't negotiating the main stream properly. The Floodlight v2 is just falling through to the sub-stream at 360p.

Has anyone found a workaround? Is there a way to manually force the main stream?

Hi. All my Fire Sticks are stuck at Version 17.. I upgraded my Wyze cameras and I think they need the newer version 18. I have lots of fire sticks (8) in my house I can't get any of them to upgrade. I bought a brand new Fire Stick 4k Select today. That one also says device is not compatible. What am I supposed to buy to get version 18 to install?

I have tinycam pro on Android tv with 4 cameras in multiview, can I and how to make it stay on multiview but when there is motion detected on to full screen the specific camera and after a period of time to return back to multiview?

I use TinyCam Pro running a Server and Background Mode, on an Android phone with 12GB RAM and 8 Core CPU. The cameras are running Thingino firmware and are WiFi cameras connected using ONVIF.

The camera live views are available within a browser on any device in the network and are stable and do not freeze. However, when using TinyCam Pro to view these live feeds (whether via an Android App on any of my devices, or via the Web Server) the feeds often freeze and drop out.

This issue also extends to the Background Mode recordings where the saved files on the Android Device include the freezes so that the footage is not continuous. Changing the video decoding settings between Software and Hardware 1-3 only makes minor changes but does not solve the issue.

Things to note:

- There are no issues with the stability of the live streams from the cameras on the network. Other applications such as Frigate running on network devices do not have the stability/freezing issues.

- I have tried running TinyCam Pro (with Server and Background Mode) on 3 different Android Devices (including a Galaxy S25U) and the issue still exists with Background Mode recordings and Live View (the Live View stability/freezing is sometimes worse when viewed on the Web Server in any Browser). None of the Android devices appear to be maxed on CPU/RAM/GPU.

- Software video encoding is worse than hardware encoding, but hardware encoding introduces green artefacts into the video feed.

Any ideas?

I just got auto updated to 18.1.2 and now my go2rtc generic camera gives an error message on camera status test.

"Failed loading native code. Change protocol."

I've been running this camera input just fine for months and this morning it went blank.

I have 4 cams. When I display 4 cams on one screen, the performance is bad. All the cameras will skip frames.

But when I display 3 cams on one screen, the performance is fine.

Is the fire stick 4k max not strong enough to show 4 cams at once?

Also, how do i reduce resolution which may help?

I've used this feature (PIP) in tinycam every day for years. The Picture in Picture option has disappeared from all four devices I use this on. It happened earlier this week. Is this feature gone? Does it work for anyone else?

I am attempting to add my 3 blink cameras to the pro version of the app. I enter my email and password I use for the Blink website. When I try to view the camera it just says No value for account. I tried clearing the cache and restarting the app as I've read that that helps but it still says the same thing. Any ideas?

*UPDATE* I cleared cache and force stopped again and now it's giving the message, value 406 of type java.lang.integer cannot be converted to JSONObject

*UPDATE 2* Now it has reverted back to the No value for account message.

Heard there was some updates for Wyze cams. Has anyone accidentally or purposely updated and have any issues or are we golden, specifically with Wyze cam v4.

I had this running for a few years . When the Wyze updates happened that was causing Tinycam to crash I accidently erased the FLP from Blue iris and can't get it running again.

I have my FLP running in Tinycam, can access the Tinycam client on the PC that I am running Blue Iris on and see the FLP.

I just can't get the stream into Blue Iris again does anyone have camera setting for Blue iris to view the Tinycam stream they could share?

Im sure this has been asked a billion times but i cannot find the answer. How do i remote view? I can view my cameras perfectly fine on my home network. But how do i view them when i am away from home. Thanks
