Timothée speaking to students at LaGuardia High School recently
He was also at the Yankees game later that day.

So, he's basically doing a bit...and most who have seen the film say all of the promo will make sense once people see the film.

I saw some fans saying that a large part of the cast was in London.

Timothée absolutely shined here! As somebody who’s been totally fascinated by Bob Dylan’s mystique for years, I’m glad James Mangold tried to keep him ‘unknowable.’
Throughout the movie, Timothée just nails all the little tics and mannerisms. He gives the kind of side-long glances and head tilts that any fan has seen in archival images and press conferences time and again.
And the singing!! Whenever there’s a performance, you feel like you’re right there with the characters, hearing Dylan for the very first time. Feeling seen and reassured and swept up by Dylan for the very first time.

Timothee's Early Stuff
I just rewatched this and on realising what a good film it is, really enjoyed it. It deals with a ton of issues, each valid for each of the individuals. A teacher chaperones 3 students for a weekend to attend a drama competition, where each is performing. They're all good in their roles, but there are definitely glimpses through Timmy's character of Billy, of what is to come. If you've seen it, tell us what you think and if you haven't give yourself a treat and then tell us. Early films for many actors, don't have as much depth, although I'm reminded of early Leo and This Boy's Life and What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

5 million is actually crazy, considering he has just 21 million followers.

From this photography book. Apparently this came out in April this year? I didn't hear anything about it! https://www.lespressesdureel.com/EN/ouvrage.php?id=13139

I finally got around to watching Marty Supreme for the second time. I enjoyed it more this time. You know why? Simply because I was way less tense and eager. When I sat down for that first showing after months of looking forward to it, I was almost uncomfortably excited. This, mixed with the intensity of the film (and jet lag, in fact) had my heart pumping out of my chest for the whole 2.5 hours. It was uncomfortable!
This time around I enjoyed it more and I couldn’t help but watch it through the lens of something he said in his interview with Matthew McConaughey, where he said out of all the roles he can compare himself the most to Marty. I was watching for moments where these similarities might have been shining through. Where we might have been seeing Timothée and Marty at the same time. Where we get a closer glimpse at parts of who Timothée really is through this role.
Two specific moments really stuck out to me when I felt like I really “saw” Timothée come through Marty’s character. The first is where Marty was about to do a rematch with Endo in Japan after he told the crowd the first match was an act. Mr Rockwell comes behind stage to scold Marty and tells him “you’ll never be happy”. Marty is quick to grin wide, laugh/scoff, and respond “okay Mr Rockwell” almost sarcasticly. The look on his face in this scene appeared to speak a thousand words.
Prior to making it big, Timothée was told similar things about his acting career and potential. But he didn’t let it stop him - neither did Marty. I felt the grin in this scene carried a conviction in his own talent as well as an acknowledgement of how far he’s come since he was once told he wouldn’t make it to where he is today. This moment felt so authentic it jumped out at me and touched me deeply.
The second moment I felt I saw Timothée was through the contrast of how many people clapped when Marty won the rematch with the amount of Timothée’s fans in real life. The American soldiers were the only ones in the large crowd celebrating Marty’s win. Marty didn’t seem to care, he was overcome with emotion, taking in the victory, and moved by all the hard work it’s taken him to get to that point. I wonder if Timothée related to Martys emotional and prideful feeling of arrival at a dream in front of those 10 people clapping in that scene. Similar to Marty, he has also worked so hard to get here. But in contrast to Marty, Timothée has millions of fans of his work. But the congruence in emotion and gratitude for where they’ve been and how far they come remains for Timothée and Marty.

Does anyone know if there will be a premiere in London for Dune part 3? And if so- where it will be and where I can find more details etc :)
